Gorgeous song and performance. Shout out to the genius filmmaker that is Myles O'Reilly. Don't know how he does it, but he elevates the music with his soulful imagery. Bravo Myles!

like 10 years ago I switched on the TV just to see the credits of a random movie followed along by a nice song. that song was so nice I had to google it and it turned out the movie was "once". that's when i started listening to glen hansards music. I often think that I would never have known about him if I had turned the tv on just 1 minute later. I'm truly grateful for that.

Saw him at Kings Theater in Brooklyn, NY last night .... the man gets better with age and time has done nothing but perfect his craft and showmanship. If you close your eyes at a live show you can almost believe your at a Van Morrison show circa 1975 ... but without the Van grumpiness :-) .... Killer show, I hope to see this man perform live many more times.

This is by far the most amazing rendition of this song! I'm smitten! Myles O'Reilly's incredible sense of flow and visual story telling combined with Glen Hansard's outstanding songwriting and such a breathtaking performance by John Sheahan, Sarah Lynch, and, of course, Glen himself! And how the pub's atmosphere is captured brilliantly in vibrant images and sounds... I wish I could find more superlatives to describe this masterpiece of art! :)
