Kamala had policies she did repeat but the media was more focused on being canidate stress testers than just repeating facts. She spoke for mortgage assistance for house buyers (remember how much people say how hard it is to afford a home nowadays?), she spoke for tax credits for new parents, price gouging bans, increasing corporate tax, making a middle class tax much more beneficial, continued support for stricter immigration policy, etc etc. But no one knows this because center and left wing media will only focus on scrutinizing what they aren't satisfied with and obviously right wing media won't paint her in a positive light.

Glenn is so correct! He states it so well. John disappointed me on this one - his view of trump voters is a terrible caricature. I’m a middle aged lawyer and father, not some 14 year old angry child . . . And I’ve had it with an arrogant dem party foisting bad ideas and morals on us all and then castigating anyone who dare question them. My views are boringly center of the road and common sense oriented, yet I’ve been made to feel like I’m a right wing lunatic when I find it unwise to politicize institutions and undercut traditional values. I’m shouted down if I try to explain that not all issues are simple binaries - either you support the full left wing agenda, or you’re a bigot. Enough is enough - let’s get back to common sense living rather than making every daily matter yet another volley in a revolutionary political war.

Trump is the most arrogant person to ever live. Trump does not have traditional morals and he does not promote them either. If you are getting our morals from politicians of any kind then that is your own personal failure. This is not black and white, it is precisely because I believe in traditional values that I could not support Trump.

I love you both, you have a great show. If Netflix or someone was smart they would throw your show up there and call it the odd couple podcast. Now for my critique of Johns comments. “If you vote for Trump it doesn’t mean you’re a racist, it just means you rank racism lower than you rank other things.” -John didn’t Kamala say she was going to pass legislation based on race? “However I think she had her message out very clearly for what she wanted to do for working class people, she said it over and over again” -John she went on the View and was asked what she would do differently than Biden (30 something approval rating at the time )and said she couldn’t think of anything, after running to his extreme left 4 years before that. That’s a clear message? “His views consist of, honestly someone who thinks he’s playing a game of risk rather than dealing with the real world” -John, Biden just gave Ukraine the go ahead to launch US rockets into Russia, who has the most nuclear weapons on earth. “As for this deep state business, this deep state that doesn’t exist” -John, Russiagate was a lie, 50 former intelligence officers said it had all the hallmarks of Russian disinformation was a lie, the fbi had the laptop at that point, Iraq has weapons of mass destruction was a lie, the nsa isn’t spying on US citizens was a lie -we’re winning the war in Afghanistan was a lie, Illegal immigration is blown out of proportion was a lie, Russia blew up their own pipeline, I could go one for awhile but won’t… “There’s people that don’t like me and I’m going to get em” -John, your party tried impeaching him over russiagate which was a completely made up story, then did impeach him over a public phone call to Ukraine where there was no prid pro qou, and after he lost an election for January 6th riots (without pointing to what he said exactly that caused it.), not to mention all the other BS cases. This isn’t going after your political enemy??? -And the one case that might have a little meat on the bone in Georgia they screwed the pooch on by giving it to some idiot more concerned with getting her boy toy a job to help pay for her lavish lifestyle.

Chapter 11’s are not for personal wealth, are expensive, and only serve to delay repayment of debt so the business that files it can make payment plans in order to avoid closing. Trump personally guaranteed repayment in three of the six bankruptcies, meaning he would have had his personal assets seized if he were to default on the payment arrangement. Anyone who brings the bankruptcies up in regards to Trump just show their ignorance on the subject. For instance, Walt Disney filed for bankruptcy in 1923. John: “if he fails it might teach the populous to be a little more careful on who you vote for and listen a little more carefully on what they say they’re going to do.” Also John: “the democrats did nothing wrong in the last 4 years.” More than 1/2 the country voted for Trump BECAUSE 70% of the country was unhappy with the direction the country was going. The hypocrisy of democrats never ceases to amaze and John’s demeaning language is hitting a fever pitch in this episode.

Was is one of the worst candidates ever on a major ticket and she was the third VERY bad candidate the Democrats (my party officially) put forth in a row.
