Huey, I wish ALL switch reviews were this good. Please don't stop doing these reviews. The combination of subjective and objective testing is invaluable. It's to the point, well organized, and devoid of useless blathering. p.s. Remember to use code huehueyhuey when shopping with the sponsors. :)

Pretty sure the spring itself is rated at 67g bottom out like Sprit springs, but the longer panda stem makes the keystroke end before bottoming out the spring, which causes the measured switch force to be lower. This is congruent with my drop holy panda testing with 63.5g springs since they tend to bottom out around 55g due to the longer stem

"Why be 'Holy' when you can be 'Glorious'?"
@troels_rl24754 жыл бұрын
Glorious are moving mad out here. First they made a substitude to the Finalmouse, so you didnt have to pay $150+ for a lightweight mouse. And even though they didn't create the idea of holes in a mouse, it was them who started a trend that have now led virtually every gaming company to make their own lightweight gaming mouse. Now they are touching the keyboard enthusiast scene with switches and lube, and now their soon to come 75%, gasket mount, high profile keyboard (GMMK Pro) starting at just $170 for the barebones kit. That's practically unheard of in this hobby, and I believe they are changing the game towards more affordable but quality keyboard. Awesome job Glorious. My wallet is thanking you!

The Glorious Pandas come pretty close to the feel and sound of my IBM Model M despite being based on cherry. I find myself alternating between the HyperX Aqua switches and Glorious Panda. My cherry MX brown board is just sitting in storage as I no longer care for the feel of the switch (this is on a steel plated HyperX Alloy Elite) and my Razer Blackwidow Elite with the Razer orange switches is put up for sale as I no longer want to deal with Razer Synapse just to have my lighting preferences stay put. My Model M is sometimes put to use for long typing sessions but I really want to preserve it.

How would the Glorious Panda compare to the Gazzew Boba U4? I was wanting to upgrade from my Outemu Browns, and the Gazzew Boba was recommended to me, but the Glorious Panda is about the same price as those (to me, at least due to the weirdness of currency exchange and delivery fees to Brazil), and I wouldn't need to cut off the plastic pins of the Glorious Panda to fit them in my Redragon 552 keyboard (I'd probably have to file a pin, though, but on the Boba I'd need to both file the pin AND cut the plastic).

did you have any of the same issues Taeha had in his, where the leaf makes a sort of ticking sound? I'd be in on these but it seems like it's a QC issue so I sort of want to wait for v2. I haven't seen anyone except him and Theremingoat bring it up though as an issue. Well... and "matthew chen" in the comments section here.
@manofinterests4 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I've read about these issues but have not encountered them myself after lubing the switches (lubing the springs & stems). I'm not sure if it's due to a difference in lube technique/amount or possible QC issues. The batch I received seemed fine. I have more on my way and I'll definitely give an update somewhere if I come across the issue (I have 180 GPs coming in, so if it's an ongoing problem, hopefully I'll find that out).
@tinypickle4 жыл бұрын
@@manofinterests hmm okay yeah I'd assume just qc because taeha didn't have it on all of his just some of them iirc. Looking forward to if you find anything out!
