I like the raw/real moments with your kids because it reminds me that I can still workout when my kids are running around. I’m 33 weeks pregnant with my second and have been struggling soooo badly with lower back pain. Any little bit of bending down or picking things up will have me practically bedridden for the rest of the night. I just did this stretch before bed and feel immediate relief in my back. 🙏🏻 Hoping this will help me sleep better tonight, but the instant relief after i finished the stretches makes me so happy! This was THE BEST stretch routine I have found yet! 3rd trimester has me super tight and I got so many kinks and pops out within the first 5 mins, even more than I get out when doing prenatal yoga. Thank you so much. 🥰🥰🥰🥰I have done this exercise during my 3rd trimester (not everyday but, I tried to find time to do so) and my mucus plug started to come out at 9PM when I was 39w2d pregnant. I got a strong contraction on the next day without water break which I am very grateful about. The contraction started at 3AM and it got faster at 7:00 AM and was fully dilated at 8:00AM. The Dr. broke my water at 9:45AM and I started pushing at 9:48AM. With a relief, my baby boy was born safely at 9:58 AM. 🥰🥰🥰

I incorporated this video into my prep for labour! First couple times I did it I couldn’t make it through the whole thing, stretching so deep was tough but after being consistent I was able to finish the video multiple times and I think this combined with other videos on KZbin really helped my labour experience ! It’s so refreshing to see a yoga/exercise teacher who has a proper full belly … sick and tired of feeling like a blimp with these skinny pregnant women haha. Cara, when your baby is 1 he/she will already be "squatting" when they see mama squat. At 2 they will be learning how to hang on a bar, and you'll just have SO MUCH FUN teaching them all of your climbing and obstacle skills from a very young age!

Perfect timing! I was pregnant this time last year but lost our baby on Christmas. I had gotten your prenatal program then but never used it. Praise God I’m due with our next baby this Christmas! Hip pain today made me search for some stretching videos for 3rd trimester and this was perfect! I’ve been much more carefully prepping for labor this time as I’m planning a home birth, but other than chasing toddlers I haven’t done any lengthy purposeful exercising this time around. I hope to keep stretching til delivery as I think it helped my stiffness today!

Look up doula Bridget Teyler's KZbin videos for advice on preparing mentally for unmedicated birth. She's done lots of helpful videos on breathing techniques to keep you calm and relaxed (and baby well oxygenated!), ways birth partners can support you, etc.

I love that baby girl is hanging with mommy while she prepares her body. This was very realistic as my baby boy is right here trying to do every stretch with me. I did feel a bit discouraged because I haven’t stretched much this pregnancy and at 36 weeks it was so painful and seemed impossible to do some of the stretches. It was a good pain though! Hoping to do this more than once a day if it’s safe. I’m 1 dilated so I’m trying to prepare

Well done babe on doing this with your little boy alongside you! Even *attempting* this at 36 wks speaks a lot to me about your level of character. If you get on the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan next (to zip up your abs, heal your pelvic floor, restore the integrity of your body as a mom) you'll enjoy the Post Pregnancy Mobility Routine in there too (it's a bonus at the bottom of each clickable calendar and gets saved to your personal KZbin Library so you can watch from your TV too). A lot of other postnatal stretching routines place the body in a position that compromises the abs and makes the ab gap (Diastasis Recti) unnecessarily worse -- this causes a "pooch." Proud of you for taking care of yourself now (do this no more than 3 days per week) and you'll be set up better for labor and pp recovery.

Ashley, thank you so much for providing this free prenatal program. This is my first pregnancy. I didn't work out my first trimester because I didn't want to overdue it. I was used to doing Jillian Michaels workouts. I knew I couldn't do those while pregnant due to the intensity. Luckily, I found your plan when I was 14 weeks. I am currently 21 weeks. I feel so strong and looked toned even as I am putting on weight. I haven't missed many days and this is the most consistent I have been with any workout plan. Due for delivery, found this exercises and I'm really grateful i did. I'm the workout type but got lazy during pregnancy but with the encouragement from hubby, midwife and siblings I've gone back to my exercises. Actually a first time mom. I love the extent you stretch and i look forward to my delivery day with my princess wrapped in my warmth.❤❤❤❤

When you said you were 33 weeks I was like how!?! Your movement flows like water girl! I’m currently 33 weeks and 1 day today and I am realizing just how tight my body truly is after completing this routine. However! I loved it! Very gentle yet on point with every area in the body. I think I triggered some heartburn at the end with the on the back moves but I made it through 🎉 you rock Ashley! ❤

22 weeks with baby #2 and although I wasn’t in as good of shape when I started this pregnancy I feel so much stronger because of your prenatal plan! I'm 38 weeks with my second baby and love this routine, as well as all your plans (I've done them all at least once now!). Quick question: do you have any guidance about stretching postpartum before the 6 weeks "all clear"? Last time I remember feeling antsy and really wanting to stretch out hamstrings, quads, hip flexors, inner thighs, etc. before the six-week postpartum mark, but wasn't sure if that was okay or not. Would love to hear your recommendation! Thanks so much for all your videos and work

Enjoyed this! I'm 14 weeks pregnant right now. However, in my first trimester, I was deathly afraid of a natural birth, but after some research, I believe natural is best. I just have to put in the work;starting with these stretches.

This is awesome! I’m almost due and haven’t really felt confident in knowing of how much to stretch my body as it changes much of the time. This was probably the deepest I allowed myself to explore in the stretches and it felt SO good! Mentally relaxing and physically opening. Perfect! I’m ready to have an even easier (home) birth experience and as my body is more prepared!!! 🙏🏽🎉☀️💜 (of course I’ve been doing many other things too, as you described, and this is now part of my daily routine until birth! I'm really thankful for your workout videos! This one made my groin hurt really intensely afterward through the next day, is it possible to be overstretching the groin due to relaxin hormone? The other stretching video I don't have pelvic pain with afterward. Again love the pilates and trying some other workouts. I'm 34 weeks. God bless you!

Did this in my 1st pregnancy 2 years ago! Now back here again for my 2nd!🤍🥰 I’ve been a dancer my whole life & now a dance teacher, so I am quite flexible already to where other stretches I’ve tried just doesn’t “get it” for me. This one does!! So I greatly appreciate it!!

My hips have always been tight (lots of popping and grinding) but I just did this as one of my week 22 workouts from your prenatal program and wow! These were definitely the stretches I needed! I’m excited to see myself improve as I do this stretching again and again in the future!
