@@GlucksGym I think more of us would ditch the gym for a home one. But more of us live in apartments and there is almost no discussion on the topic. I’ve resorted to kettlebells and dumbbells. Came back after watching last week to say I received my rogue urethane set and regret nothing!!!!! They're so pretty and snug on the bar (plus I got them for 'free' by selling up). There is something to be said about certain indulgences to make you smile every time you step into the garage: a banner, a patterned 2Pood belt, or even some colorful durable plates. Still though, you make good points.

On the homegym subreddit, the biggest waste (for those who own them) seems to be the reverse hyper, with jammer arms being a close 2nd. They're great if you actually use them, but that's a big "if". I think people see how useful or versatile something is in the marketing material, but the benefit isn't worth the time it takes to program it, or it's too big a pain to move and adjust. At least the westside scout hyper is kind of low risk - if you don't use it often, it's not taking up a ton of space.

It's too bad I don't know you personally I'm thinking about making a home gym because I have to move within the next year and I don't know if a commercial gym will cut it. If you're getting rid of anything, throw it my way. That would be amazing.

Nice commentary, but I’ll add one important consideration. Even if you “wasted” another $10,000 on useless over priced equipment, you would be way ahead of the costs associated with your first heart attack. This assumes you use your gym to improve your health. Just a thought.

Good vid but I use my titan viking press with a land mine and barbell obviously. It’s a good workout whether you’re doing rows or shoulder presses. Anyway, good stuff thanks for the input.

My Equipment Regrets: everything🤦🏻‍♂️…specifically, RH-2, Legend plate loaded dip, Legend Lat PD/Low row, Legend Power Station, multi-purpose bench, sissy squat, DBs with rubber handles, EliteFTS plate loaded leg extension/curl & their 45 degree back raise, & the Rogue Rhino belt squat. Selling everything. Ready to just go back to the gym. Instead just buying new things and starting over. I’m in too deep.🥺

Rogue would have been great, but yeah the prices they ask for their equipment. For those in the US it might be okay, but many of us who live outside the US find the prices to be too much. Like $350 for a barbell bar? That's already a month's wage for many here in Asia.

LOL I'm looking now though and titan is now a couple dollars cheaper and in stock now the day after smh. I may have just got lucky getting bumpers under $2/LB or maybe they are cheaper than 2 years ago.
