Original Video:
In this fascinating video, Jessie Inchauspé shares a groundbreaking perspective on aging and health that might change the way you see your diet and lifestyle. Jessie explains the concept of glycation, a process where our bodies "cook" from the inside as we age, likening it to a chicken roasting in an oven. This process, Jessie reveals, is significantly accelerated by glucose spikes in our body, which can lead to visible signs of aging like wrinkles and also affect the health of our internal organs. If you're intrigued by the science of aging and want practical tips on how to slow down this "cooking" process, this video is packed with insights.
Jessie dives into the importance of managing glucose spikes to combat the aging process. By understanding how our dietary choices impact our body's aging, viewers can learn how to make healthier decisions that may not only improve their skin's appearance but also enhance their overall wellbeing. Jessie's approach to aging and health is both innovative and enlightening, offering a new angle on why maintaining stable glucose levels is crucial for longevity and vitality.
By the end of this video, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to make more informed choices about your diet and its impact on aging. Jessie Inchauspé provides a compelling argument for paying attention to how our bodies react to food, especially in terms of glucose spikes. Whether you're looking to improve your skin health, extend your lifespan, or just feel better in your day-to-day life, Jessie's insights on glycation and aging are an invaluable resource. This video is a must-watch for anyone interested in the intersection of nutrition, health, and the science of aging.

Well, I think there's a leetle bit more to it than that. My greatmother lived to be 103. She smoked, drank and ate whatever she wanted, including sweets. When she passed, her wrinkle-free face was still glowing and her silky silver blonde hair was long and healthy. She didn't looked "cooked" at all. She looked stunning! My 75 year old aunt could pass for 45. And when ppl guess my age, they routinely think I'm 20-25 years younger than I am and I love sweets! My endocrinologist measured my glucose for 2 weeks using one of those continuous monitoring devices and she found that my glucose levels barely moved regardless of what I ate or how long I fasted. I am a lifelong vegetarian and eat a carbohydrate rich diet. I'm just saying something else is at play here.....

How do you get energy then?
@mrvoidhiker
@mrvoidhiker 4 ай бұрын
@@marjonylewinton2508 You know the funny thing is that I ask myself that at times, too. I recently did a 3-day fast again to kick remaining addictions to carbs or snacks that I thought kept lingering back once in a while (cravings). Now if I get an urge, just eat a carrot or something else. All the while I'm powering through my days with seemingly more energy than I used to have. I just finished building a deck, painting walls, my job, it's just never ending chores and time in the gym for me but the energy persists. My physique has changed a lot in positive ways, down to 11% body fat ratio, 20 BMI. Nearing 40 and in better shape and health than ever before. Btw, I haven't had caffeine or soda for 20 years, I only drink water and my diet is basically meat and vegetables. Get plenty K2+D3, omega oils. Also quit dairy except a little cheddar. Once healthy habits take over bad habits (and it is a struggle at first), it is definitely a life changer. Hardest part honestly is telling other people to stop tempting me with junk food.

Oxygen has a much higher attribute in our body as an aging factor. Glucose can lead to diseases that increase the aging rate, but for the most parts it's oxygen and the errors in the DNA. On the end of a DNA strand there are things called "telomeres". Telomeres are protective caps at the ends of chromosomes that become shorter with each cell division. If they become so short that the genes they protect could be damaged, the cells stop dividing and renewing themselves. And there were studies that linked glucose spikes can increase the rates of the shortening of those telomeres. But not in a matter of skipping distance, but rather walking a bit faster for a moment. So yeah. Much sugar is not good for you, but cutting sugar increases life expectancy drastically or even claiming that glucose is the sole culprit of aging or a driving factor in aging is just wrong and looking her up just proves it right. She is claimed as the "glucose goddess" an influencer who thinks that cutting glucose out of your life gives you a sure chance of a longer life. So yeah. She just rides the famous train, but gives often misleading or bad advice for the sake of saying that glucose is bad. So more hype train than doctors advice. Kinda like the hype train of "Gluten kills you" trend. Everything bad got attributed to gluten. Take it away and you are moments away from a healthy and fullfilling life. So all in all. Sugar/glucose

@@xy3278that’s the point, aging is a natural part of life. These hacks like her try to sell you the idea that you can stop or reverse aging with nothing but dietary choises. Aging is normal, bodies are part of nature, people deserve joy and exaggerating health anxieties for no reason is immoral and way more unhealthy for you and the society in the long run than some sugar or bread. You can’t stop breathing because you’re not supposed to. You can’t stop aging because you’re not supposed to. The little you can effect your body aging will never be so grandeur and revolutionary as these influencers try to tell you. You can’t make the miracles they ceep promising you, and that is by design of our natural, necessary, morally neutral material existance. The only ”cure” is making peace with it and simply taking reasonable care of yourself for the sake of your quality of life, not some fcking wrinkles.

This is scientifically very true. People constantly spiking their glucose followed by a mad rush of insulin to fix causes insulin resistance overtime. Then you need to produce even more insulin to fix the glucose imbalance which causes over correction of glucose in blood, leading your body to panic, which signals great hunger as your glucose levels drop below normal, and then you crave carbs and fill your blood full of glucose again until the insulin floods through your system, and so on. This is exactly how type 2 diabetics are created. From there, the glycation process continues to get worse with more exposure to glucose leading to arthritis, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, anxiety, depression, fatty liver disease and a whole host of other metabolic diseases diseases. You literally are what you eat, and there is no such thing as an essential carb. Not a one…

That's exactly what my mom died from. Type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, heart disease. Simultaneously but still in that order... kind of all neck and neck. She had these 3 issues quietly brewing for a decade or two, not paying much mind to them for the most part. Then during a time of extreme stress, she abruptly lost all the weight she had been trying to lose for decades. Then she developed cataracts, but didn't want to go the surgical route. They rapidly got worse, which robbed her of her mobility. Without being able to move, she spent two years suffering and getting progressivly worse. When she died, each organ gave out within days of each other, in that same order.

so sorry to hear to hear that Jenna. Most people die, sick, to the exact stacking effect you referred to. We slowly poison ourselves, and the old we get, the more “browned” we are as she mentioned in this video. The more damage has been done over time, the harder it is for our miraculous bodies to repair ALL of the issues daily, while still detoxifying your body from radiation, pollutions, food additives and all the other crap we are exposed to daily.
