It should be kept in the refrigerator and will probably last about a week.

What kind of chocolate chips? Semi-sweet or dark chocolate? Also, do you think I could use my ninja food processor?

You can use semi-sweet, dark or milk chocolate. Whichever is your favorite. I'm not sure if the food processor would work or not but may be worth trying. Sometimes food processor blades warm up and you don't want your butter to melt.
