A few years ago I would explore a bunch of gmod maps, there is nothing like being in an old map. I like to envision what goes through the head of when the person was making it, and what thoughts/experiences helped inspire them, it makes me really nostalgic in a way.

A few side notes. A:This is not the only disney map. There was two campaigns in left 4 dead were either disney themed or had a disney ride in them. Journey to Splash Mountain is mostly the entire park with several ride area's like the haunted mansion and splash mountain. The other one being night terror has a haunted mansion map in it. B:There are a few other maps for gmod that do the haunted mansion. I dont remember whats the one i played however. I think there is a tower of terror gmod map. Infact there is a tower of terror map for both the florida park(The one I played.) and the california park.

de_haunts is the haunted mansion map. I also believe there's three tower of terror maps: gm_tot (which I think is a cs source map), Gm_TowerOfTerror_CA (which is disney land), and GM_TowerOfTerror_Night (which is disney world)

I remember playing this map in the past. Awesome memories. 😍 The telephone is linked to a logic_timer. After every 3 minutes, the telephone rings for 30 seconds. I noticed you use the slow rotate to rotate around objects. That improves the quality of your videos and it looks awesome. 🎥

This map is so impressive, especially considering all the textures used and the creativity of the map makers. I actually converted the map to TTT back in the day and ran it on my server, it played decently, although the traitor sometimes had trouble finding all the players.

I remember playing this map back in the day but I didn't know it was based on a real location. I was and still am very impressed with what can be made without using any additional stuff from the Half Life episodes and Counter Strike (which I hated when maps required).

trade_imagination_a6 is a tf2 trade map with a recreation of the Epcot "Journey Into Imagination With Figment" ride. I remember visiting it a couple times. The first time, the sound didn't work and it was extremely eerie and weird to sit through. I visited it again with friends some time later and it was actually quite charming when the sound was working. Seemed kinda similar to this but with a little less effort put into the details

Hey Whomobile! I know this comment is a bit unrelated to the video but I just wanted to give a "Weird Maps" suggestion. There's this gamemode for CSGO called Zombie Escape, and it has one of the most talented mappers I've ever seen, his name is Luffaren. He has made some of the most epic, craziest and funniest maps for the Source engine that I've ever played. Some of my favorites are ze_Santassination and ze_Frostdrake. I know you're a bit burnt on the "Weird Maps" series at the moment so no pressure! It's just a suggestion I hope you look into whenever you're up for it. A lot of people in Second Life wanted to do that and made somewhat decent educational builds. Second Life is even more ancient and arcane than Source, though, and the server costs meant that people didn't keep them up. It was a neat idea though.

Tip: incase there is music that would be copystrike worthy, type: “stopsound” or something like that into the dev console to stop all background music, ambience and other stuff, although I’m unsure how to turn it back on tho. Also, I recommend using Rasko’s no screenshot camera incase the normal camera starts to annoy you.

You should check out the twilight zone elevator map, it was created for hl2 and there's still gmod downloads scatterd on the internet for it, using the way back machine I was even able to find it mentioned in some kinda offical walt disney blog, I haven't tried the gmod version in a while but I know atleast one feature or more are broken that prevent you from progressing but otherwise works fine

I made a csgo map which is basically a recreation of a small part of easter island harbor. A lot of csgo maps actually recreate real life places with stunning accuracy. Its not exactly archival purposes but its similar enough.

I wonder if you'll take map suggestions. I just saw the redsun mandrillmaze video, and I liked watching it, I even think I could've been in one of the games since I recognize a few names. I have been playing that server for a while until about a year ago, and I think, *if you haven't already* , you should check out szf_turtle_attack. Alex Turtle, the creator of that map, makes some ridiculously cool maps, such as boss flowey (which if I remember correctly, started to become a meme from how often people asked for that map), a jevil boss fight map, and alot more that isn't listed on gamebanana.

Feel free to not want multiple suggestions, but if you don't mind, I think you should also check out the machine attacks series. It's a series of around 19 different MVM maps in the style of a story mode, that would need multiple episodes or a HUGE long episode to cover it. I think you should still check it out if you don't want to make a video on it. You should find it easily by searching those words on gamebanana.
