Wish I could find the bat somewhere. Literally can't find it anywhere.

Another nice looking GN. Those actual power spot stickers were always lifting and peeling. But definitely a happy memory to see it. The Powerspot was synonymous with Atherton on this side of the pond.

Thanks for sharing that memory.

My first real bat was a GN Powerspot...but I bought it from Kmart in 1992 and it was a Kim Hughes signature version. I was 11 and had no idea really who Kim Hughes was and it was coated in a strange white hard plastic. It was way too heavy because of the coating and I batted like a toddler because of it. Hopefully it is landfill somewhere - but likely still in its original condition and likely will still be the case for 10,000 years thanks to that coating.

Hahaha, polycoat or something like that. Thanks for sharing

@@CricketBatInfo No worries. It was like a bit of cricket bat therapy. The more I think about it the more I realise that I must have bought an early 80's bat that was new/old stock at Bankstown Kmart in 1992. Live and learn

Bats, bat banter, & beer...could have potential! A nice replica bat...the deep navy decals are a bit too dark for my liking but still a quality looking piece of willow.

Watch me drink and moan about cut priced beer. Sounds uplifting 😂

Really like the look of this bat ticks a lot of my boxes. Completely agree about your comments on edge size, why sacrifice wood in the hitting area , the shit people believe

We both owned 35-37 mm edged B3 Belugas. What a middle!

The first bat i ever bought when i was a 19 yo kid in Jamaica. It cost my whole paycheck and was useless. The dynadrive would have been a better option.

Not every bat is a unicorn. I purchased a GN Megadrive and it was useless in my hands, but fine in another player’s. Middle as too low for me.

Have not seen a SM for years, long before videos. Might be an old photo album on the Facebook page.
