When i was 7years old my grandma always gets up at 5am in the morning cleaning the house and ready to go to church doing some pray for 2hours and gets home and read the book until dinner time. I thought she is so strict to her schedule. So one day I asked her. "Grandma, why are getting up so early in the morning? Don't you want to sleep more??" Then my grandma said'because I want to do it, sweetie. If youbeant to do something you have to DO IT." Since that my grandma was the first mentor in my life.....

I can relate to his beginning of life. I too was taken away from my birth mom and jumped from house to house. Foster home to birth mom to foster home to relatives of my birth mom for the first year and a half of my life. This is not good for a child. I didn’t get attached to anyone and now have ADHD because of it. I finally got adopted and now couldn’t ask for any other life. Just remember, you’re child needs you from the very beginning. They need to grow attached to someone otherwise they don’t feel like they belong anywhere. Thank you❤️

My grandparents are also my hero’s, my grandpa and grandma adopted my mom and my aunt, my grandpa was in the military and he worked on building and painting houses, my grandma was a businesswoman. My parents got divorced when I was 3 and I had to switch in between houses every week. Me and my brother would stay at my grandparents house every day in the summer till my parents got home from work and picked us up. They also drove me and my brother to school everyday, they also picked us up everyday. Now both of my parents have a girlfriend or spouse so they don’t have to take us to school or anything. Now my grandpa is retired and my grandma wrote a book. They are the kindest people I know and I thrive to be like them even if they are not related to me.

Such a powerful, raw, real story that had me in tears multiple times. I was deeply moved by what his grandmother told him: "It's a great day to be alive." Despite enduring immense hardship, he rose above it all. It's a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. For those who understand that every day is a gift, filled with potential and opportunity, something bigger, better, and higher awaits.

I'm a child, 11 years old, nice family, Adopted, smart and a handsome young man when i was 5 years old I was one of the most happiest boy on earth. One day when I was 9 years old I member breaking into a car bumped my elbow into the cars windows it broke and me and my 2 friends stole some stuff I it. I was charged with robbery. Life was till that very day I was different and acted out horribly. I went to juvenile detention and I remember sitting in a room hard matress no pillows sink security cameras both in bathroom and the room. 2 months later I found out my grandma had stage 4 pancreatic cancer.... she was my hero, when I fell down she be holding me up. I started acting out even more bad I would always get mad its easy for me to act up. I remember I was laying next to her in her bed while she will sleep In reclining chair I loved her.... We would always go to church I hated church o thought it was boring and god weren't real but I never knew he was real. We went to the hospital the doctor for when she had pancreatic cancer he said she would last 3 months but while she was still alive I was sitting playing in creek my mom said this " When I was 30 i had my dad he was in his death bed he was worried and lasted a long time he was worried about his land she said don't worry we got every thing planned" later that night he died so I got home rushed started crying got on my phone called my hero and said grandma don't worry I'll be alright just sink In and let go. She lives In Decatur Alabama we live in Birmingham Alabama we were driving down there was road work so we had traffic... I woke up my mom said Tyler grandma died I didn't believe my cousins said her last words were " no I gotta wait for tyler" ever since then I was confused angry and acted out hrobbilly I'm still like that every sing day I'm mad but she spread her wings and flew away and is now lifted up... hallelujah your home.

I am just astonished by how inspiring this was. He had a very hard childhood, with the foster home and his parents dying. But that just wouldn’t stop him. Wow. This man is gifted. This speech made me so emotionally connected, with a few tears running down my cheek. Just because he thought he would die in prison, doesn’t mean he would have had a hard time.
