Korean Days: 하루, 이틀, 사흘, 나흘...| Korean FAQ

In this video you’ll learn how to count days using the counter 일 (for example, 일일, 이일, 삼일), as well as using a different Pure Korean system for the days. This includes 하루, 이틀, 사흘, and 나흘. You’ll also learn the words 보름 (15 days) and 그믐 (30 days), and the days between. And you’ll learn the difference between using 일 and using this Pure Korean system instead.

The fun fact is that in my generation, 사흘 나흘 were kinda common while 이레 여드레 weren’t used a lot but we knew them at least. Billy, i have a question about the 데 form. in the future becomes 건데 but if i don't remove the ㅅ from 것? it will be 것인데? this is common? it's because the 지 form, becomes 것인지 if you maintain the ㅅ, so i wonder if this happends with 데 too. And it can be used with 겠다 future too? 하겠는데

Yes, 것 + 이다 + 데 would become 것인데. 겠다 would be 겠는데.
