Her reluctance to take an upfront approach in the ruling of it, probably because she is a demon lord and a vampire which is contradictory to the religion that she has founded. The amount of diffferent parties at play (that we know of) is quite high. 1. Tempest faction (this includes the troops sent to falmouth) 2. Falmouth faction Edmaris/Yuom 3. Falmouth faction Edward 4. Master Rook faction (headed to Falmouth) including the temple knights 5. Hinata and her Paladins 6. Renard and his crusaders (sort of Hinatas faction) 7. 7 luminaries/days 8. Rosso familiy 9. Eastern merchants 10. Yuuki hinted that he was up to something too. Chances are i am forgetting some as well 🤣

Luminus faction, when it diverges from Hinata's actions, maybe? Any other major factions are either spoilers or future, iirc. Subgroups within some of the factions you mentioned when they have different motivations, somewhat. Diablo, when executing strategy, maybe, for instance. None of these factions are a monolith.

@@myst0dreamer tempest is the closest to a monolith, but i get what you are saying. Especially when comparing to the church which has so many competing interests. Everyone at Tempest is pretty much on the same page, even if they do their own things, they are on the same side. Yeah I considered luminous, but she is mostly hands off about this situation so I didn't bring it up. But she did tell them to not get involved so I guess that counts? 🤔

Luminus is trying to protect humans, partly by uniting them against a common enemy, whose danger she exaggerated by setting up the strawman Demon Lord Roy Valentine as a threat. Partly, too, it's to protect humans from threats, such as Veldora as an extreme example, because the vampires need them. Also happy humans have tasty blood. But we need to remember that monsters were, and still are, a threat to ordinary humans in particular. There are still monsters who are basically wild beasts who appear here and there, and not every monster is under Rimuru's influence. That influence did change the threat level (but they are paradoxically a bigger threat, just now that threat is dependent on Rimuru's decisions). Yeah, the ramen was important, but not only because of the reason you pointed out. It's because of the effort Rimuru put in to replicate it. Added to everything else he is accomplishing it made her recognize Rimuru's unusual competence. What's with this slime?

Calling them 7 days clergy might just be a translation error, since the kanji for "you" in "shichiyou no roshi" is also used for japanese days of the week, such as getsu"you"bi, which is Monday.

What I love about season 3 so far is that we're seeing the flows of information, and the importance of knowledge. Rimuru and his group don't have a perfect picture, yet. But they clearly have the most, and the most accurate information. Meanwhile, their adversaries are working off of assumed information or deliberate lies spread by Tempest.

But what annoys me that Rimuru knew that someone lied to Hinata in the hopes of killing him, and that someone is pulling the strings behind that, Falmuth's attack, and Clayman... And yet Rimuru apparently forgot that and assumes that Hinata is the main threat. He will not even try to understand why Hinata came to begin with.

@@lisboah I'm not saying this is the right answer, but Rimuru knows at least part of Hinata's motivation back then was her own, or at least, that of the Church. It was why the instigator was able to get her to act so easily. And before he was just a random monster, even if he was a leader of them, but now he's a Demon Lord, which the Church might decide is even more necessary to eliminate. It was something the Church discussed doing, so even if he doesn't know that, it's still a reasonable possibility.
