Moral collapse and the prevalence of sexual sin may seem like signs of the times, but the apostle Paul actually addressed these same concerns with the early church. Listen to Truth For Life as Alistair Begg walks us through Paul’s teaching on immorality.

Because Not only did I just add my subscription as I continue to send others, I donated $$$ to Truth-for-life ministries and plan on going to pastor Alistair Begg's church (although his congregation is growing at a staggering rate already) because he's such an amazing and loyal servant of our God and Lord Jesus Christ. This message is so ABSOLUTELY TRUTHFUL!! It a shame that this delicate but needed truth is not more front and center in today's churches.

Amazing sermon by Alistair Begg, a true and loyal servant of our God and Lord Jesus Christ whom many have lots to learn from. Well said that when people give in to sin and appease those desires, it becomes easier to do it again and becomes harder to acknowledge it as sin anymore. That action that happened in the past has lasting consequences and what happens afterwards becomes a sinful lifestyle. God gives them exactly what they so passionately desired; practices they thought would satisfy them but do nothing more than destroy them. This kind of character is representative of the wrath of God in our midst and are the kind of souls we as Christians ought to minister to not chastise and add on to their suffering. There are two ways that sin can be paid for: in eternity under the wrath and punishment of God or paid at the cross. Spread the gospel and let God be the Judge and Savior of the souls He created. God bless you.

Good morning to all my brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us remember not be so hypocritical as to look at the sin of another and forget the fact that we have sinned even more grievously against God. Remind yourself that you are walking around breathing the same borrowed air God gives other sinners in His mercy and God allows you to live on the same earth not because you are better but because He killed His Son in your place. Our desire as those redeemed by God should always be to see that sin taken care of at the cross by proclaiming the gospel and seeing people come to faith. Have a blessed day.

Alistair tells the bible as it is, and that is the job of a pastor. I walk in Williamsburg, VA, and see, on Richmond Road, the churches exclaiming: "All are welcome, Love is Love, etc..." This is a true evil, to preach what MAN tells God, rather than the reverse, and to preach this to young W & M students looking for truth.

Are you kidding? Ironically, [he's] a pastor who affirms g∆¥ w€ddings. Since you affirm him, based on his recent proclamations, what does that make you or anyone who does the same? A respectful, legitimate question.

I think I know what you are getting at and we don’t have the full context of the sign but it looks as though you don’t want those who actually need the gospel to come to church! Surely anyone is welcome to come in - it’s what is then taught thst is important ?

How do you read John when he says God is Love (1Jn 4) or Paul when he says that it is God's will that all be saved (1Tim 2V3-6) or Peter when he declares that God is patient and not willing that any should perish (2Peter 3v9). What about God's original covenant with Himself 'Let us make Mankind in our image' and observation at the end of Gen 1 that he saw all he had done and it was very good. Whilst I like Alistair and learn much from his teaching in my opinion his Calvinism leads him to error on the Goodness of God and the truly Good News of the Gospel and the total victory achieved by Christ in his life, death, resurrection and ascension. The conclusion of Paul's argument in Romans is found in Romans 11v32-36 and gives us the motivation to live the life described in chapters 12 - 16..Grace and Peace.

Pastor Begg points us to Him and His Word while some ignore Proverbs:"Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him. Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than him. Where there is no wood, the fire goes out, and where there is no talebearer, strife ceases. God bless all those seeking Truth.

A thought. Biblical interpretation of "dropped the mic"moment...Moses, what's in your hand? A staff, Lord God-drop it. And it turned into the power of God ,transformed for the next moments of serving and declaring God's power. When we drop our accumulated tools, inventories, current interests and voices, then we can take hold of what He provides, see and declare His Way....
