@@stangamer1151 I absoulutly never (in the last 4-5 years) play new games in the first 3 months. Only after 3 months are they (ca.90%) totaly fixed, optimized and new software features like newer upscaling etc. are added.

@@silverwerewolf975 The continous performance drop seems to be fixed, I've been playing for a about 1.5 hours in Alfheim on my 6600 and it's between 60-80. It used to drop down to the 50s in the same area after playing for a couple of minutes.

I think the developers promessed rt, i could be wrong. Even as it is without the latest tech i was more impressed plying it than Robocop just after even if the later using UE5!

​@@korichesaleh5776they said the would work on cube map tracing, which is a diluted form of rt reflections that works as a fallback to SSR before raw cube maps on the PS5 quality mode on very specific instances. I would love, but doubt this game is getting full on rt reflections.

@@korichesaleh5776 obviously the quality of this game is on another level, I played the fist time on PS4 pro and it was incredible experience just playing the game, nothing against Robocop is a nice game and I had fun but is not game of the year. Not that I care what wins the game of the year title, just saying the caliber, the most fun for me on PC is able to play the game at 120FPS for the hardest difficulty acually managing to progress.

I wish that now i can stop disabling first 6 cores in this patch. Turning off 0-5 in affinity in task manager = +10-12% fps

Is the screen space reflections fixed? Did they fix the issue where there is no environmental volumetric fog in an area they discussed on digital foundry? It’s like a woodland area. I think it’s like a dream area. I haven’t played it cause I’m waiting for these fixes too

Bro how can you say massive FPS improvements? Look at 1:56 they're practically identical? still completely unplayable? That particular spot is NOT GPU limited, the 3060 could easily display that, it's bugged code that's causing that horrendous frame drop.

And I gotta say, it's an absolutely terrible experience due to the lazyness of developers in making the GMGOW mode. Attack patterns are random and unpredictable, HP and damage output of enemies is too high. I had to progress to vanaheim unlocking all collectibles available so far to actually start being somewhat competent in combat. And there's literally no trophy for GMGOW. Just a tiny sentence on your save file to remember your achievement. Truly terrible game to play after 100%ing black myth wukong. I'm NG++++ along with a new cycle and it's still so much more fun.

Some enemies don't take any stagger and instead stagger you so hard that you are dead in 3 hits. Yes I'm talking about Odin's commander the first one. The skill tree is useless as half hour combos will get interrupted and you will get staggered. And the fact that enemies swarm you with no respect for space. Lock on mechanic is janky as hell.

@@alexfurious2121 gmgow in 2018 and ragnarok is only for after you get used to the game on hard which is still quite a bit different than the normal difficulty. Ofc you'll feel like the combat is agregeous when you're playing it on a mode that's made to purposefully torture yourself, the proper "challange" difficulty is hard, the do it for the bragging rights difficulty is "gmgow".

@@guywithnohouse.6808 I played gow when I was in school on the easiest difficulty because I didn't have a lot of time. Now I'm a uni student with quite a bit of time. I started with gmgow on gowr thinking Id get a trophy. Not get tortured and waste my time doing the same boss 10 times. I've completed cyberpunk in the hardest mode too. Still, after defeating a hard boss, people want to feel rewarded, but not for me in this game. I just feel, "glad that, that is over...."

Dear friends! This is WHY you never play games on a release date. Even the releases which are deemed great, need some time to finish. In this case, the devs are REALLY good, because they released 6 patches in very fast manner and solved every problem this game had. Thats the best you can get nowadays, and its a stellar exception. Other devs are much more "lazy" and release much more problematic games, which they hardly fix one year later. So keep this in mind, let the games mature and THAN play it. Get off that "day 1 hype" train, and you will play better games, with higher framerates. It took me decades to get to this point, where I have a lot of games I want to play and keep em maturing... its the best. You save a lot of money on HW as well.

i finished the game before this patch released, but i did notice in valhalla I DROPPED FPS SIGNIFICANTLY i5 10400f undervolted rtx 3060 ti undervolted 16 gb 2666 mhz ram nvme m.2 gen 3 i was running dldsr at 1620p and doing 60 plus most of the time with optimized settings until i went to valhalla dlc and i had to drop it to 1440p and use dlss q (i was using dlaa before because i noticed some particle effects after freeing the two little jelly fish things were very pixelated)

previous game had same issue for me, I solved it by setting the page file to 24gb min/max, this will be the same, Im sure. U can do 32/32 and be 100% certain.
