Glad to get it over with. It's the cleaning and not being able to sleep and wearing cling film, dont miss that at all. My girlfriend at the time use to wash it and moisturise it for me. No idea how you would look after it if you had no one to help would be a pain I guess!

I got a tattoo of Kali on my leg 5 or 6 years ago. I feel as though as I've evolved spiritually and intellectually my tattoos have too. I love that all my ink tells the story of my life and it's progression. Nice choice.

I think what Russell said about the reasoning behind him getting this tattoo and what it represents also alludes to what these figures and deities across religions are used for. These gods/goddesses, divine beings, whatever they are across the different religions ultimately all share the same purpose. They are used as symbolism, representations of the powers that exist amongst our human kind. We can use these symbols in mediation and prayer to help us visualise and understand the different aspects of humanity and beyond and bring these concepts to a level where we can understand and communicate about them. Anyway, lovely tattoo!
