completed a skarsnik vh/ vh campaign right before this update hit, without karak 8 peaks it's damn hard, with its just great. strong -88 ish % upkeep ( heroes) and like 70 leadership. hard to get there tho..

Trollzyn/Trazyn (Isaac) I’ve been using a “Dread Incarnate” doomstack with the vampires and it’s absolutely hilarious to watch an entire, untouched 40 stack shatter with one overcast of doom and darkness.

Quick fyi since most players don't know the difference between the separate WAAAGH's magic missiles; Gaze of Mork (Big WAAAGH!!) and Vindictive Glare (Little WAAAGH!!). Gaze of Mork you should never overcast since all it does is increase the cast range from 200m to 400m whereas Vindictive Glare when overcast increases the number of missiles launched from 5 to 10. Also Spirit Leech isn't as terribad as people make it out to be, it just doesn't deal any AP damage so it's effect on armoured targets like Lords is underwhelming. Best used to snipe low armor single entity targets like mages or giants.

It’s also really good at taking out snikch, had a fight where like 3 normal cast spirit leeches and some added damage from a dragon killed snikch. It was mostly spirit leech though.

I love spirit leech, it always makes me cringe when he says it's bad, he just never uses it right lol. The problem with it is that enemies have a decent chance of resisting the damage, so it's not 100% reliable. But for only 4 winds and a low cool down timer it's great to be used over the course of a fight on any targets, even the highly armored ones. And the extra range on the overcasted spirit leech can be very helpful for sniping enemy lords who are running away. I think his biggest problem is he plays on ultra unit scale where all of those single targets have a higher health pool, spells like that are not balanced for ultra.

Well the thing with spirit leech is that it is useless on the settings that Legend plays on (ultra unit scale) since spells are not balanced for it(especially single unit damage spells)

Fully upgraded and buffed gobbos are ridiculous on Broken Axe. You can basically just steamroll everyone with full gobbo stacks once you just get some economy going.

Hey Legend don't take this the wrong way I love your conttent and I find it funny that after talking so much shit about spells in general that are buffs/debuffs you got carried by Death's magic Doom and Darkness spell I love it. I think the problem when addresing questions in the chat, etc is that you give very simplistic short answers that are only slightly true but very situational to actual questions that require complex answers, that require more elaboration when asked "why x and not x or why x instead of x or why do you like this are not this". The point is not to make you to use more time and thought process to answer this questions but just to not say "this lore/spell really good or this lore/spell really bad".

Thought that magic gamble bug was due to the mods I had enabled when this DLC came out. It really screwed me over in some battles where I had a start of 6, 8, and 9 at the beginning. Not sure how they screw something like that up and leave it for more than a day.

@@tonyfranksland428 Malus faction is just terribly designes, he is an awesome lord when confederated but person though his own faction mechanics was good or fun need to be slapped. Both his rites are terrible, he doesn't provide any viable faction bonuses except small economy boost for already economically powerful race. I completed his vortex campaign once, good lord, terrible faction, bad campaign.

What I wanna try with malus is a mortal empires campaign where I disband the black ark, get malus killed by the lizardmen, literally just forget about the southlands cause they are awful, and just move to hag graef with the army that's there, then recruit malus again and just play like a regular dark elf. I lose the starting units, what a pity, but at least I don't have to pay for 2 armies from the beginning

Greenskins are a proud warrior race and by refusing to use a staunch line of spears you are disgracing the race. You should be ashamed of yourself for constantly min/maxing the game to intentionally destroy yours and your viewer's immersion. The AI is designed to give the player a challenge not to be abused by a scummy cheeser with no respect to the units and lore provided by GW.
