Going Offroad in Mongolia on a little Moped | Puch Maxi touring Mongolia to Austria

Picking up where I left off in Mongolia, still following the Central Route, the weather is cold and windy and at somepoint the rather good road just runs out and turns into Dirtroads. This trip really challenged my small Motorcycle, but for the moment there are no problems.
From Tariat I travel via Tosontsengel to songino, Half of the distance was done on Pists only. With a lot of Sand and corrogations, interestingly there was a lot of construction going on and in the next year(s) or so the whole thing will be paved.

Great choice of bike. Makes a mockery of the Long Way Round BMWs - lovely big bikes but so hard to pick up when they fall over. Any trouble finding 2-stroke oil?

Thanks! Sometimes, but usually If There are trees, so are chainsaws and 2stroke oil. Just dont expect the best quality. Still works though

What was the hardest to drive in? Soft sand or grassy sand at the end of the video? Do you think a vulcan s can do that road? Heavy and low ground clearance.

grassy sand is a lot easier to drive as the grass holds it together. Honestly I have not Idea if a vulcan s could do that, can you pick it up when it falls over in soft sand? If yes, why not.

@@maxitouring thanks for the reply. I am a giant and the vulcan s is not much of a problem to lift. I have asked many others traveling questions and you are the first to reply. Do you get travel info on special sites or just do web searches as you go?

Meistens der einen Straße folgen dies gibt und zwischendurch gibts dann eh immer ein paar Schilder zum orientieren. Wenn des alles versagt, hat eigentlich immer das Handyinternet weitergeholfen.
