LOL I know right. Personally i think Ben is a little confused. All other people i've heard talk about it (including John Meadows) say that intensity is proximity to failure, not proximity to one rep max (when it comes to weightlifting. The actual term means something else). So yes, like Ben said, powerlifters in competition are doing High intensity because that 1 rep is failure already, but going to failure (and beyond) in any rep range is high intensity.
@SopranoPizzaJMFNJ3 жыл бұрын
@@fbastmar I would agree with Meadows but maybe for some people that threshold is the same or so similar that they can't distinguish a difference.

Raw clips are the BEST! Amazing to watch this while eating my food 1 hour before Im gonna train my wheels! *Still I have a question Fouad*, do you notice a difference between putting the band from the bottom (the seat) versus putting the band on the top end of the machine? Theoretically in both circumstances the band will have less tension on the bottom of the movement... Thanks man!! 💪🏼

Yes at the bottom but there is more tension thru the entire range by putting at the bottom. Putting it at the top reduces the weight, it’s kinda different.
