The difference is that Saitama does not have to make an effort to get stronger. He just kind of does by virtue of being exposed to an equally as strong foe, similar to how Broly went from a nobody to stronger than blue in a matter of minutes. The problem is that Saitama's universe does not contain characters of such strength as the likes of Dragon Ball, so given that Saitama's strength is not determined by himself (perhaps if he trained but we know he's just lazy) but rather the enemies he fights, he could never rise to Goku's level prior to a confrontation and just die (based entirely on what One has established for Saitama so far, he could very well just say that he grows proportionally to the enemy's strength and make it so that Saitama simply can't lose a fight, but that'd be a weird approach honestly)

I disagree with your statement that Goku's fighting skills and abilities would give him an advantage over Saitama if they had the same stats. The fight with Cosmic Garou showed that Saitama has no problem standing up to martial artists even if they have comparable physical parameters to him, and he also unleashed his ability to copy martial techniques and abilities when he repeated chop with thunder and time travel jump. I think Goku is stronger right now, but Saitama has more potential.

Just want to point out a nitpick on the wording choice for something (it doesn't affect the outcome or the scaling, just to shut up downplayers) Goku doesn't absorb his god form in BoG, his body adapts to its power which exponentially boosted it as stated by Beerus, if he absorbed it he wouldn't be able to transform into it later on but he does at the end of the Beerus fight. Just want to point this out as I've seen a decent amount of people trying to downscale Super scaling by saying absorbing God was retconned when it just was never a thing, thought they still have god levels in base because of the the Goku black arc which is even in the manga

While I think Goku wins for now. Some of OPM feats have been downgraded here in my opinion, I might be wrong, feel free to correct me if you think something I said isn't correct. Firts if all, this higher dimension where Void enters is actually outside the casuality of the Universe and it's able to see the infinite Multiverse (In OPM it's been confirmed since the Garou fight by Genos that the Multiverse contains infinite worlds/Alternate Universes) as simple bubbles, not only has Void specified he can manipulate these dimensions like bubbles, but also saying they are simply 3D spheres or portals doesn't makes sense (This is only how they're represented to be actually logic and understandable for the reader, doesn't means they actually look like it's shown. That's like saying "The Universe of Dragon Ball isn't infinite since on its representations we see it as a 3D sphere with clear limits of size" Doesn't makes any sense ,right? Btw, Void has been shown to control the area that he wants to cut with his Dimensional Slash, since in one scene he was casually going to cut in half the entery Heroe's association, and in other scene he does it on smaller scales, this would make sense since he attacks from a space that ignores size, distance and energy). Each on of these bubbles are separete Universes/Dimensions (they've been defined as that in the manga, I don't know why you consider them as "portals" honestly), by pure logic they'd have to be 4D since a single Universe contains the concept of time, and Void exists and attacks from a higher dimensional space than what I just mentioned. Now, for terms of scaling Saitama, beign able to react to the dimensional slashes and catch them would grant him Inaccesible-Inmesurable reacting speed since these are from a higher dimensional space outside the casuality of the Universe that travel all the way to earth in the blink of an eye. Other characters beside Blast and Saitama beign able to react to those would be simply plot armour, and even if this sounds like a dumb excuse it actually happens a lot more often than many people think, like why hasn't the earth of Dragon Ball been destroyed yet? It's not because it's super durable or something like that, in the clash of fists if should have been instantly destroyed since it directly threaten to destroy the entery Universe with it's inmense cosmology, so a simple celestial body like Earth shouldn't have been able to survive it. Another thing that it would grant to Saitama catching these dimensional slashes very casual 4D scaling, but with the logic of each Universe/Alternate dimension containing the concept of time inside it, and it beign a higher dimensional space than these, then it would be a 5D feat putting them both at the same tier. Presently, there are two different type of scenarios for this fight, at firts if you put them both at their peak form to a death battle, then Goku would win since he's way more experienced and tactical in an actual fight. So I'm pretty sure when it comes to goku vs Saitama, it's not about where Saitama is power level in the beginning, it's whether goku will *test* Saitama long enough for him to surpass goku. Of course he's not at that level yet but the whole point of Saitama growth is he grows exponentially when pushed as we saw with cosmic guaro. I also think this isn't fair...for Goku. The thing here is that this argument is stupid. I like both characters, but when comparing them against each other, you compare 2 completely different ideas: - Goku is far from the strongest guy in his universe. He is constantly facing stronger and stronger opponents , forcing him to overcome his limits and become stronger. This is the basic plot of nearly all anime tbh - One punch man's approach is entirely different. Saitama has no limit to overcome because he has already overcame every possible limit (which is outright stated in the manga) . At the moment he might not be the strongest, but he has the potential to become the strongest. A fight with Goku would be similar to the fight with Garou. If the first punch doesn't end Goku, then Saitama will punch twice as hard the second time....If Goku is still alive, then twice as hard again...and he will just keep doubling the force and speed until there is no more Goku. Without limits Saitama wins by default. He can keep increasing his strength infinitely, which is why this comparison isn't fair.

Okay, so Daima actually changed Gokū's scaling quite a bit. The Demon Realm is now confirmed to be outside of the 12 universes, so it was not affected by Gokū and Beerus' clashes. This made Gokū significantly weaker as a SSG at the start of Super. Still far stronger than Saitama, but weaker than we thought he was.

All you can do is speculate that some of the lights in the sky are actually galaxies, and that some of those galaxies were in the destroyed area. But at the same time, you could also speculate that all the attack did was disperse the light far enough away that it would take a couple minute for the light to reach Earth again. There is nothing that actually tells us that is the case. So yes, his best feat is low multi solar system level, as it destroyed 16,500 solar systems. But all that aside, like I said above, he literally made the argument which wanks Saitama to a ridiculous degree, no matter how generous you want to be with his feats, and compared Saitama at a theoretical multiversal level.
