With the poll results, while it’s not my favorite matchup, I know that Cole vs Alex has been requested for YEARS. With that, I’m glad those who have wanted that won’t have to wait for too much longer for that to happen. Unfortunately... - Bill Cipher VS Discord (Gravity Falls VS My Little Pony) | *THE WINNING 2D FIGHT.* This fight has AMAZING potential, and the whole damn community knows that, which is why most Champions voted for it, including me. With the more recent GOW games coming around, giving more character to Kratos, this would be an awesome fight with awesome banter between the two. - Steve VS Emmet (Minecraft VS LEGO) | A chunk of the community disliked this matchup, saying that Steve should fight the Terrarian from Terraria, and how this was a bad matchup and whatnot. I personally liked it and thought it would be very fun to watch, especially with all the building the both can do. - King Ghidorah VS Deathwing (Godzilla VS World of Warcraft) | The 3D one I personally voted for because I NEED MY BOY GHIDORAH IN THIS SHOW (In case you wonder, Ghidorah is Godzilla's arch-enemy). Sauron VS The Lich King made people want more Warcraft matchups in the show, and I can see why no doubt! These two are big ass dragons that destroy and mess up absolutely everything in their path, and with how powerful the two are, this would be an absolute spectacle of a fight. - Illidan VS Xiao (World of Warcraft VS Genshin Impact) | More Warcraft! I've seen people dislike this fight for the sole reason it is Genshin, but that's a bit too harsh. Anyways, these two are both extremely ancient demon hunters! This would definitely be a cool fight, and would likely be Genshin's first appearance in the show in the future, like Season 11. - The Spy VS Agent 47 (Team Fortress 2 VS Hitman) | Oh I BET you would've voted for this one! Mysterious as well as DRIPPED TO THE CORE, these two are the best possible at their job as an assassins (or just trickstabbing everyone lol). Keep in mind, that the matchups that lost the poll *DO NOT MEAN* they are deconfirmed forever. These matchups the DB team actually have really good interest in, and have said that they are likely to appear in future seasons, so expect at least 1 matchup from this to appear at 2024's Season 11!

As fun as it is to get Lani back as Vegeta (I mean what other option is there?), I'm surprised they didn't also get MasakoX as Goku, instead it's Michael Kovach, who previously did the voice of Goku Black in the show with his battle against Reverse Flash, so I guess they wanted him to get a chance at voicing regular Goku. (He also did Asta in the episode you skipped & he did great in that as well) Overall; Great episode! Great Season! Probably my 2nd favorite. Looking forward to the next one!

something that was missed in the analysis on Vegeto's personality was that he was deliberately *trying* to make Super Buu absorb him, intending to rescue Gohan, Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks from within him. His personality is actually pretty consistent with that in mind. Meanwhile, Gogeta's only real 'canon' appearances are more different in that regard. And a factor to note in the fight vs Omega Shenron was that SS 4 Gogeta... just dwarfed Omega Shenron. The fight would have been over the moment the fusion completed if Gogeta didn't get (justifiably) cocky.

It'd be more accurate to say that each fusion supposedly has a more dominant side to them (Gogeta with Goku, Vegito with Vegeta) but like they also said in the video, that was never covered all that much except for small clues here and there. Vegito's attitude with Buuhan was to get absorbed yes, but even than he was just real cocky and arrogant, roasting Buu the entire time and obliterating anything he tried while mocking him at the same time. Just like Vegeta. Gogeta didn't want Broly to die and even smiled when Broly was saved and whisked away, he was just having fun with a powerful new opponent and wanted to be able to fight again, just like Goku. Same with that whole Omega Shenron bit, you can definitely see more Goku than anything else, with him being more of a cocky goofball.

I'd say this was a pretty good finale to my new favorite season of Death Battle!. Sure, season 8 still makes up most of my top 10 list,but even the worst episodes of this season were still enjoyable to me. And this had some real banger episodes like Trunks vs Silver, Magneto vs Tetsuo, Omni Man vs Homelander, SpongeBob vs Aquaman, and Sauron vs Lich King. Also, although Bill Cipher vs Discord and Cole MacGrath vs Alex Mercer weren't the match ups I was rooting for in the champions poll(The ones I wanted to win were Finn and Jake vs Mordecai and Rigby and The Spy vs Agent 47), I'm still excited for them. Billcord is gonna make for an INSANELY trippy and chaotic fight, and I have a LOT to say about Cole vs Alex. Back in 2009-2012,a rivalry between Cole's games inFAMOUS and Mercer's game Prototype started,due to both being open world games staring mutant main characters that got some insane superpowers after a major incident,who become more evil over time (Although inFAMOUS had one of those morality systems, while Alex just got more evil over time.) There were several videos made by major content creators debating which game was better. Both series have been dead for a while now. Sure inFAMOUS Second Son happened, but that was a sequel to the good ending, and Cole ends up dead in that one, and Prototype 3 ended up getting cancelled. Anyway,Death Battle got started around the same time the Prototype vs inFAMOUS debate was still going strong, which means that,yes, people have in fact been requesting this since SEASON 1! And the fact it took this long for it to finally happen and it did happen because of the champions poll is honestly pretty insane. While I've never played inFAMOUS,I have played Prototype 1 and 2 and really enjoyed both. Also I think it'll make for an ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING fight. If want the full history on Cole vs Alex, their is a video on Nemesis Bloodryche's channel that gives the full history of this match and why it deserves to happen. I would really like to see you react to Nem's content in general,his Death Battle reviews in particular. Discord is also fast enough to move outside of the laws of time, and massively scales above magic that affected multiple universes at bare minimum. Bill is kind of doomed. Like horribly doomed. And agree on the second one. Cole can do cool stuff, but Alex probably whoops him with better stats before Cole tries anything funny.

@@ShimmerScarlet Agreed. Bill's powers are incredibly limited by comparison. He can only access his full power inside the Nightmare Realm. He couldn't open the portal between worlds on his own, he needed someone else to help him do it. Outside of it, he's entirely limited to the mindscape and has no physical form (outside of Weirdmageddon, when the Nightmare Realm and the physical realm become one), only able to interact with the physical world when he's possessing someone else, which he can't do without consent (though he can trick someone into giving implied consent). And he's much weaker when he's inside someone's mind, forced to actually fight instead of just teleporting people away. Even during Weirdmageddon, Bill was unable to open a portal to get outside of Gravity Falls' weirdness barrier; once again, he had to get someone else's help. In that state, while he is omnipotent, he loses his previous omniscience, which he only had because he was watching the physical world from the Nightmare Realm. When the two worlds become one, he can't do this anymore, so he loses this power. Discord has no such limits, and can open portals to other worlds (like the one he nearly threw Tree Hugger through) wherever he wants anytime he wants. The only way Bill could possibly beat Discord would be if could somehow get into Discord's personal realm and either become its new master, essentially 'changing the locks' and greatly limiting his magic, or impose Order on it, which is the only known way to kill Discord. But, again, Bill cannot open portals to other worlds on his own, while Discord can. And Bill is limited to the mindscape outside of his own world, so even if he could get in there, it's not the Nightmare Realm, so it's not like he could actually do anything there. So to sum it up, Bill's only omnipotent in his world, and outside of it, he's near helpless. Discord is omnipotent almost all the time (aside from places with magic dampeners), only getting beaten if he lets his guard down and somehow loses his powers, but never actually being killed. And since Discord can go wherever he wants whenever he wants, he decides the battlefield. And while this might not be a factor, I just thought it important to mention; Bill's magic is specifically negated by unicorn hair, and Discord knows plenty of unicorns.

Discord is from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. He's basically a god of chaos, warps reality can turn gravity into gravy, ect ect. That's, going to be fun. The other one is Alex Mercer and Cole McCgrath. Alex is from a video game called Prototype. He's basically a living virus, his body is malleable, he can grow swords from his hands and turn people into surfboards, but without any water. Pretty fun game. Cole is a character from Infamous, another game series, and he has electrical powers, pretty damn potent ones. These two battles are going to be a blast.

If the animation looks familiar the fight was animated by Daitomodachi the team behind the Gohan-Verse The battle music (Dragon Dance) was so good, once it comes on Spotify I'm adding it to my Death Battle playlist And being a Dragon Ball Fan I loved this episode but still think Sauron vs Lich King would have been the better Finale episode. The Death was just So Dragon Ball, Gogeta turning to stone was a call back to Vegeta's final explosion to stop Buu expelling all his power leaving his body a lifeless statue, meaning Gogeta Gave it his all but didn't have the energy to fight and survive Vegito's blast, and the Fist Bump was the cherry on top

A thing they forgot to mention, in the manga the supreme kai said "Vegito's power, could, could it be even greater than Lord Beerus?" Now this isn't credible cus the supreme kai hasn't seen beerus at his max and whis has but the author refused to confirm either or which is relevant, and the goku and vegeta at this point was weaker than the gogeta who fought broly.

I don't know if they should really count Dragon ball heroes content as anything, given the heroes in that show are taken out of any time line the time patrol can find them & so we really don't know what time line that Gogeta is from, so why should it be considered the same Gogeta in the main time line? Gogeta got washed to the guy wearing Dishwasher gloves. But in all seriousness I’m fine with the result, as it all comes down to the lore between how the fusions happen. As the Dance and Potara are different types of fusion with different lore, but are still fusion. I just don’t really like the debates of Gogeta would beat Vegito when they say “Gogeta did (blank) in the DBS Broly movie, while Vegito could only do this against Zamasu”. The logical sense should be that is because those are two different points in time. It’s like comparing Gohan when he was a child to when he fought Cell. TLDR: DragonBall fans can be either coolheaded, or thick headed.

Indeed they can be it honestly comes down to the fact that with Zamasu, Vegito didn't have to worry about freeing someone from the belly of the beast as he did with Buu so he went all out from the start and the earrings couldn't handle that unfortunately. If the potara had any shortcomings it would be that the wearer has to use up energy to of the fusion to transform if they have transformations (which is why I feel Gohan and Goku fusing back then would have been a big deal due to Gohan's unleashed potential minimalizing energy consumption.)

Gogeta actually beat Super Janemba with a move called "Soul Punisher," while in the DBS: Broly movie, he uses a very identical move called "Stardust Breaker". These 2 moves are normally confused with one another, since their differences are subtle. :)

Both moves look like a shiny rainbow ball. But "Soul Punisher" is performed on Gogeta's left hand. It will shrink into a little spark of dust and is grabbed by Gogeta. He throws the dust to his enemy, to which it will pass through the target. It should only take effect if there is evil inside the target. If the effect occurs, the target will turn into sparks of dust, and all the evil should be vanquished. With "Stardust Breaker," Gogeta uses it on his right hand, and it will stay as a rainbow ball. After Gogeta throws and hits the enemy with it, it will cause a large explosion.

This fight was pretty redundant and their reasoning doesn’t quite hold up, while the fusion dance does require both to match power levels there’s is no confirmation that it impacts the power of the resulting fusion also even if it did both Goku and Vegeta are equal in power to the point that matching power levels is a non-issue when fusion. Ultimately this fight is a stalemate, which should be obvious since they’re the same character.

The Fusion Dance requires both of them to be exactly equal in power, then multiplies that power. Vegito allows for both Goku and Vegeta to go all out, giving Vegito a tiny, but still present, power advantage. Not to mention Vegito has a longer time limit and Gogeta's best move, Stardust Breaker, has no effect on him.

@@wingedbluj1674 yes I watched the battle as well and I’m aware of the conclusion that they came to, but has I said there isn’t anything in the series that suggests that lowering the power levels impacts the resulting fusion and given that Gogeta and Gotenks can still power up and transform after the fusion there’s more evidence to suggest that it doesn’t, also has I stated that Goku and Vegeta are so close in power that matching power levels are a non issue when they fuse. And I never disagreed about the time limit being an advantage on Vegetto’s part but even death battle mentioned that at full power both fusions burn out only after a few minutes so that not a deciding factor.

First of all... yes. Hitler was in a Dragonball Z movie/special. Second, While I want to be angry about the result, the logic regarding how Dance Fusion requires one power to be lowered to match the Fusion perfectly While Potara does not have that requirement makes the conclusion too reasonable for me to argue against. What I will NOT accept is the part in Gogeta's bio that says he's only had ONE canon appearance. Yes, GT is not canon to Super, but then one could give plenty of reasons why Super is not canon to Z considering the number of background and lore changes they made. GT AND Super are both canon in that they are both separate versions of the timeline. One follows after the end of Z, while the other starts BEFORE the end of Z, respectively. To say one is canon while the other is not is like saying NEITHER are canon. I really wish Dragonball fans could stop being so close minded about this. It solves nothing and just causes strife in the fandom where it doesn't have to.

I genuinely said when clicking on this video “It’s more or less a coin flip. I have no one to root for here.” I don’t prefer one over the other, fusion is just a great gimmick of DBZ/DBS/DBGT. It’s yet another move that is a double edged sword when it comes to stakes. (Which are normally pretty non-existent in the show at this point.) I’m inclined to agree with Vegito victory because of the double time limit. And I also do like that they explore uneven fusions that have dominant personalities take over instead of equally from both. I thought that was a GREAT touch with Kefla. I have a STRONG love/hate relationship with this franchise. But damn it I love practically every fight stakes or no. And it might be glorified fanfic now, but that remains true. I wish Masako was here for Goku, but I’ll take the Goku Black VA. Maybe we can see Jiren or Hit in a Death Battle next season. They’ve both got INCREDIBLE means of fighting. And I loved watching them across DBS. Or Freeza. We’ll see.
