I met Goldberg after a nitro in 98. I was 16 and snuck past the security to the parking garage where the wrestlers were leaving. I was a muscular football player in high-school and he said "are you a wrestler or a footballer?" He was super nice. Talked to me for probably 5 minutes. He was super cool even though he knew I wasn't supposed to be there. I always respected him for that

WCW’s security was horrible. When I was 18, I went to go buy tickets at the last second, but hours and hours before the show, and after I was done buying the tickets at the venue, I started walking around and checked all the doors and found one that was unlocked. I snuck in and got in the nosebleeds and just sat and watched everything for hours. And then left without anybody ever knowing I was there.

Goldberg on fatherhood: "There is no right way, there is no wrong way, there's just YOUR way." That is so true. To people who are new fathers or expecting a child soon, remember this. A lot of older people will give you advice to their way but it may not work for you. It's a learning experience. As you age you'll realize everyone is just sorta winging it and hoping for the best. If you are a teenager/in your early 20's, barring cases of extreme abuse, you will learn that maybe you were a bit harsh on your parents. Again this is excluding the cases of abuse or drug abuse etc... The man dropped invaluable wisdom.

They tried to replicate the formula, but all the attempts failed miserably. Bill was unique even if everyone want to say otherwise. I didn't see anyone with the same intensity in the ring. Beside the match with the undertaker (that should had never occurs in the first place) and the incident with Bret Hart, there is no real negative about his career. Glad he stood against Vince.

Could you imagine the amount of bad advice Bill got that he took serious when entering the vicious cut throat business of wrestling as a Green Horn but was the most popular wrestler on the roster. The jealousy, people want to take his spot, take advantage of a Man who literally knew shit about the business. Easy target. Im not saying he didnt get great advice too but my point being he actually did pretty good to stay and draw numbers. I always respected Goldberg for that.

It’s so so good to see Goldberg in this relaxed environment & mood. I was born in 92 and as a kid, Goldberg, Sting were my favourites of any wrestling. I may have been a kid and Goldberg may have been green but man was it believable to me that this dude was just a monster and. Back to a happier time when I didn’t understand wrestling politics, the indie scene etc. this guy obviously did something majorly right to have that success back then and coming into WWE in the early 2000’s. To see that dude come back to wrestling but in WWE & for the World heavyweight championship mannnnn I was hyped! Goldberg will always have infinite Aura to me and I Thankyou Bill for everything you’ve gave to the industry. Thankyou Chris for providing this platform for him to speak so openly and comfortably!

The Wrestlemania match with Lesnar was a sad way to end the first run. Boring match and the crowd turning on both guys for leaving. To this day, the "You sold out" chants made no sense to me. Neither he or Brock were benefiting financially from parting ways with WWE.

@@ce6654 That’s what fans can be like though. Look at The Rock when he went to Hollywood, they turned on him when he came back for being part time, which was where Hollywood Rock was born (both ironic that the exact same thing happened for different reasons, but also with a fantastic result in character change recently). It’s why many wrestling fans won’t hear a good word about another wresting promotion nor a wrestler that isn’t at theirs. It’s tribalism notched up to 100.
