@s10032323 ай бұрын
Question is : why is stronger healthier? Answer : it's not the same. But apparently muscle and strength is regarded proof of health. And although no muscles or strength are unhealthy, there is also a balance. I would suggest 75% of gym goers / fitness influencers / bodybuilders are on the unhealthy side with tons of excess calories the system has to convert / work on. And tons of stress on bones, nervous system.

Supplements alone are not enough for increasing T and keeping it high. You need a holistic approach. A lot of men today have suboptimal levels of testosterone; a lot less than their fathers or grandfathers had just 30-50 years ago. There are various reasons for this. One factor that is oftentimes neglected is endocrine disruptors in our environment (i.e., xenoestrogens, BPA, phthalates, triclosan, etc.), phytoestrogens in food (i.e., soy, which is present in almost all processed foods), and hypothyroidism (subclinical or autoimmune Hashimoto's disease). To increase testosterone levels naturally, including libido and erection quality, and reduce chronic inflammation: • Get enough daily sunlight. • Vitamin D3 (especially during the winter or if you live in a northern climate). • Zinc picolinate (20-40 mg per day). • Magnesium glycinate/citrate. • Resistance training (3-5 times per week for 45-90 minutes max). • Adequate neuromuscular recovery (e.g., don't overtrain). • Adequate (quality) sleep. • More healthy fats (monounsaturated and saturated fats from sources like grass-fed red meat, pasture-raised eggs, fatty fish, organic full-fat dairy, coconut fat, avocados, cocoa butter, certain nuts and seeds, etc.). • Increase dietary cholesterol intake through nutrient-dense, whole foods. Cholesterol is the building block of all steroid hormones, including androgens such as testosterone. • Manage stress. Do what you have to do to keep it under control (i.e., meditation, yoga, nature walks, relaxing music, massage/reflexology sessions, adaptogenic herbs, etc.). • Chronically elevated cortisol levels disrupt the HPT (hypothalamus-pituitary-testicles) axis and deplete your body of the very resources it needs to produce androgens like testosterone and DHT. • Eat enough quality calories (not all calories are the same!). • Avoid large or prolonged calorie deficits. • Eat adequate amounts of each macronutrient (protein, carbs, fats). All of them are important in their own way and serve specific physiological functions. Beneficial Supplements: • Shilajit • Ashwagandha • Maca • Taurine • L-Carnitine (increases androgen receptor density) • Creatine • Tongkat Ali • Fadogia Agrestis • Black Ginger • Pine pollen (contains natural androgens) • Boron (increases free testosterone) • DIM (natural anti-estrogen) "The Testosterone Advantage" by Timotheus Ray is a nice read on male health and hormone optimization.

I guess ypu missed the point of this video. The endocrine system in its totality is important for hypertrophy and overall health. Everyone talks about Testosterone optimisation...that information is everywhere. But few realise the importance of endocrine health. That is the point of this video.

Phytoestrogens are in potatoes and many foods including beans and legumes.. phytoestrogens in soy do not bind to alpha receptors. Research harder. Yes environmental factors are a main contributor.. but the elephant in the room is the gigatons of nano materials like polymer coated aluminum being dumped globally on us like roaches. Also our DNA is being altered through eugenics experiments and EMF. Pulsed wi-fi has permanently f'ed every man on earths semen forever. Permanent DNA alteration that will take 10 generations to reverse if we stopped it today. Good luck.. look up and dont believe a thing I have written.
@multishit66643 ай бұрын
Shilajit is fulvic acid aka fertilizer with toxic heavy metals and minerals..hence why Canada has banned it. Boron is also toxic. DIM is not safe and can cause permanent endocrine disruption.

I got my testosterone checked for the first time now at 34 years old. Im at 850ng/dl. Im completely natural. I supplement with beef liver and orchic glandular, other than that I eat very clean and high quality. Im even about 30lbs overweight, which negatively effects testosterone. I just started training again after not lifting since I was 17. I train about 6-7x week, between weight training and I started a cardio regimen with a lot of running and have been enjoying it a lot

That is fantastic! Well done. I find that too many people choose TRT way too soon. Too many people don't ever achieve their natural potential because they do not know how to train. Understanding nutrition and optimal training is key. Most people will never need to take steroids in their life, they just need to learn to eat and supplement correctly and to train optimally. @GoldenEraBookworm I completely agree. Anyone can tank their testosterone on paper to justify TRT. Its become a shortcut, not a medically necessary treatment route. I avoid toxins, no phone in pocket, have a healthy circadian rhythm, est 100% clean and balanced, and even with being overweight some, maintain a Testosterone level some people dont even get WITH TRT.

In my experience, what works isn't an a pill. Put effort into lifting. It doesn't matter if volume or HIT, but I prefer volume as I'm 43 and it doesn't beat my joints up. Just be consistent. Eat a varied diet. Get enough sleep. Avoid processed junk 95% of the time. Do some form of regular cardio. Avoid pron. Your testosterone level will be as good as it's going to be. Mines mid 700s ng/dl on a 200-900 lab range.

Glandulars are so important. Thank you for bringing this issue to the forefront. Glandular foods that we don't eat anymore were responsible for keeping us healthy in the past. major deficiencies in the foods that protect the endocrine system are just missing completely in the modern diet leading to all the metabolic deseases that we suffer from because we don't feed the endocrine system
@s10032323 ай бұрын
Yes of course, its not the processed foods that came up. It's the healthy things that became unhealthy.😂 Quite a funny thing that seems to be popular.

These organ supplements may actually make sense, at least for some people, since Vince used these products for decades, there must be something to it. Now there is simply a different fashion when it comes to supplementation, and the supplement market promotes products that are cheap to produce, easy to sell and promote. Often of poor quality, unfortunately. Returning to organs/prebiotics, old medicine was full of this type of prepapates, extracts, extracts from animal raw materials, this is the beginning/first half of the 20th century and earlier. Later, chemistry and pharmaceutical companies gradually cut these preparations out of pharmacies and the market. Currently, there are still a few left, including for injections, the Russians are good at these things, they have their own preparations that stimulate, for example, the thymus. There are German/French preparations for subcutaneous injection that stimulate, for example, the thymus, testicular extracts, and other organs. It is biological medicine, which works on the principle of stimulating one's own body with precisely selected doses of preparations, usually small doses, administered cyclically - a vast subject, a lot of writing. Swiss rejuvenation clinics commonly use this type of preparations for big money. Carlos, you should have heard about it, such a fashion among rich people has been going on for a long time - for rejuvenation. Of course, you can do the same for a fraction of the amounts that these clinics and doctors charge :-) Best regards

Harsh truth : i always regarded Steve Reeves as role model. Until I watched interview where he was around 70 years old. The "health guru" sounded and looked tyred and definitely not special. That made me wonder : how healthy is putting all that stress on your system? Eating 5000 calories a day? And he died at a pretty normal, even a bit early 74 years of age. Should make people think different...
@porcupinecraig3 ай бұрын
You have a point. Steve really thought he was going to live to be 100 just by eating fresh fruits from his fields. I think Steve just had otherwordly genetics. I don't know if he used any gear but it certainly is possible. Either way, he had an amazing structure that nobody else can get, and his body responded to his training. I read some of his books and they are interesting, but kind of useless. Training like Reeves will not make anyone look remotely like him. Just ask yourself, is there anyone out there anywhere that looks anything like Reeves?

Supplement use means not real natty for me. I don't do supplements, only food. Not even protein powder. It's insane that people see all that stuff as normal or healthy. Heavy lifting is putting your body under loads it may be capable of, but that doesn't mean it's build for it. The fact you "need" extra stuff to supplement / repair that damage, should ring a bell.
