Yusuke endured a day of the most agonizing, excrutiating pain through his whole body when he was assimilating Genai's spirit orb, even when she saw he was going to die and tried to remove it, he stopped her and pushed it right back into himself. He also, stopped Koenma from banishing Sensui to finish his 'job' as Spirit Detective even though he was hopelessly outmatched and was finally put down after being shot point blank in the heart. Gon's still pretty great, but i think they're alot closer than WM gives Yususke credit for in determination.

Yusuke was brilliant, sure he takes a lot of chances but he's pro at figuring out his opponents, he shows that in his fight against hiei and even Genkai remarks on it before he defeats the mind reader, his analysis and deduction are dwarfed only by the likes of Kurama. You go on to say Gon wins with brain over brawn, then heart beats brains. You seem indecisive on Yusukes intellectual ability. Personally I like both, but I think Yusuke should've won by 2 points, not just 1.

No it wouldn't. Adult Gon is like Sensui but much less polished and refined. Sensuit was a master of all Martial Arts, a tactical genius and had access to Sacred Energy which he himself stated would tear the earth apart. THat makes Gon's Nen look like a parlour trick and Demon Yusuke beat the everloving shit out of Sensui even when he was at his strongest. Gon would be lucky if he lasted five minuts against Yusuke.

HxH is a pretty good show. Binged watched it a year ago or so. unfortunately togashi(the creator) really...really likes dragon quest. It is unfinished and may never be finished. It has a pretty neat world. If you get the chance check it out.

Yuske and Gon tie in versatility. Yuske has used his brain a lot. When Yuske defeated the first demon, he couldn't injure the outside so he fired a spirit gun in it's mouth. In his fight against Hiei the Mirror trick was a good idea. He couldn't hit Hiei directly which is why he attempted the mirror trick in the first place because he didn't have shotgun which he uses later by backing himself in a corner to a foe that can't be hit easily during his rescue of Yukina(Hiei's sister). He usually has teamates helping him to figure stuff out like Killua. It's a tie. Who writes these scripts. In his fight against Sensui he stopped his blocks by wrapping their hands together with his wet t-shirt after jumping in the water. And then the time Yuske used the rubber on his shoes to stop the Saint beast of Lightning's lightning attack. That whole trap that Gon set for his foe was a team plan in the Game Island arc was made up by Bisqui and Killua. Gon ignores the plan in the hole to set up a one on one fight to prove his strength. Yuske and Gon use their strength alot. I remember these fights very well. Oh yeah, Yuske enhances his strength by using spirit, life, or demon energy. Yuske is always risking his life. He risked his life for a kid and died; He saved Keiko by risking his second chance at life by throwing his Spirit egg to save Keiko; he risked to bring back Kurama's mother; He did this again by using life energy to destroy the 4th saint beast; He died to bring out his buddies latent powers against Sensui so they could beat him; The Dark Tournament was forced on the team or their friend would die. What anime did this team watch?
