Mashallah your tips help me to understand how to teach my children good manner in polite way
@kalpanaganesan84896 жыл бұрын
Superb Mam, on top of your message I would like to add a few points with your permission in advance. 1.teach them difference between public and private life. Meaning once they step out from thier house then it’s become public. So washing thier cycle on the road or flat entrance, shouting in public. 2.they should learn to do everything on their own.so that while they grow no need depend on anyone also they can learn the skills 3.maintain queues system 4.learn and follow their own family culture being Indian he or she should know the difference of cultures and should learnt to respect. 5.teach them bad and good touch difference 6. They should judge the people only by thier knowledge, culture, and talent rather than status. Hope I have covered all, of anything missed pls share so that I will also remember.

Yes. I am 57 now. Still I say thank you even to the people who help me; may be conductor who issue ticket, rickshaw driver who drop me home, everyone I come in contact. Yes I would like to teach my grandchildren also. They are too small now.

this should be the important points that is taught in all schools ...all families must follow...I have been to several relatives house, even adults do not follow basic manners...as simple as burping,farting, picking nose....I wonder what the kids of those families would be ...manners first, money later...we send kids to school and tell them, they need to get jobs,but basic manners not seen anywhere...you covered lovely points...a great teacher:)

Very well explained Gita ji ! Like good food, well manners go a long way in developing a child's personality. I applaud your efforts. I hope you take up more of such subjects and continue the series. Also you have good command over subjects and language too. One such subject which comes to my mind is "wastage" ...in terms of resources, money, food, .... .You may invite viewers ideas too. Best wishes.🙏🙏

A very nice useful and much needed information for the present generation. As you told I have been telling my child most of the points covered in the video. I studied in a missionary school & I follow them till date. But the family also should co-operate I feel as they have their own way of talking /behaving which reflects the kids behavior and I am facing one such situation. My kid is a teenager and he apes his Grandpa or father in certain things which are not right in general maybe for the family it was ok then. How could I correct him. Of course I am telling him in their absence but still an experts advice means a lot to me.. pls mam
@GitasKitchen4 жыл бұрын
I understand that it can be a little difficult situation, show him examples from people he knows either within the family or outside, who are appreciated and looked up to for their behaviour and tell him that today there is something called Sq also apart from Iq which is Social intelligence and it matters a lot. Dont worry he will learn to appreciate your inputs although he may not express it

Gita ji you are simply the best. A phenomenal woman indeed 💯👍🏻👌🏻❤️👑💖💐 Please make a video on skin colour and how we as people should love and respect all our fellow Indians and also people of different races with various skin colours. Also how we should teach our children from a young age that no matter what there skin colour we still love and value them. Often we find people comment on young innocent children's skin colour saying: " Hey you are so fair but your daughter/son is dark but still he/ she has good features." Also some elders compare colour of children this is not good. This is not the way to talk or behave. Also we subconscious are telling the children for them to be ultimately beautiful they need to be lighter in complexion. So when these children come to an older age they start to become very self conscious and start using toxic chemicals and skin whitening products to bleach their skin. This effects the health and psychology of the person to think that they will be beautiful, loved, respected and held in high esteems by friends, families and strangers only when they are lighter skinned. Plus some creams have bad chemical that can effect health. We need to slowly get rid of this thinking.
@GitasKitchen5 жыл бұрын
Very true, this should definitely be taught to children.many adults sometimes make insensitive remarks specially while comparing , which is not good

It is important that any difference of opinion among parents should not be seen in front of children. You continue to teach them what it is to be polite and also show by example ,they will learn.

I have 15 months old baby boy, he is slapping and biting me and my husband, i told him so many times very pleasantly this is not good if u do like this no one will play with u but recently he bites one of my neighbors daughter and that onwards that baby is not coming to play with my son, from that onwards i am shouting and slapping my son if he slap or byte me, i don't know whether it is correct or not, but really i dont know how to tell my child
@GitasKitchen6 жыл бұрын
Shirisha, please don't slap your child. The reason for his behaviour is because he is afraid about something. The best way is to give him more love and affection. Reassure him that mamma or papa is always next to him. Keep physical contact with him.Children at this age like to explore a lot. They bite toys, slippers., handbags, whatever they can get their hands on. Dont leave him with a caretaker, as he might be missing you and start this behaviour. Also remember children learn by imitation, and if you do the same thing, he will continue the same.
@shirishasiri3306 жыл бұрын
I am an employee, we won't leave our child with care taker, whenever my parents are there they will see him, and if they went their village my husband will take care about (as he is a dentist when the patients will come he took our son to hospital with him), after I came from office i will take care about my son.
