By now, the silence is already terrible news, specially with a new character release coming up and another one in the near future. With how shaky the foundation for Strive servers have always been, I just hope it doesn't become a KOF situation where it feels hopeless for a very, very long time.

I hope they will fix it soon and let us know. Monday was a better experience, but there's no word from the developers. I imagine they're actively working on it, but who knows if a fix was pushed or if they're just experimenting.

KOF is also currently going to hell with the same problems. These games are going to be slaughtered by Street Fighter 6.

Thanks for the updates. I’ve recently started getting back in to Strive and FGs in general and been having a blast but the past 2 days of failed connections really takes the wind out of the sails…

I don't think most people want the devs working themselves to death fixing the issues, but how hard is it really to just let your player base know what's going on? Hell, I'll even take a, "we literally have no fucking clue what's happening but we're working on it" over what's happening now. I dunno I just think it's a little sad that they feel we're not even worth giving any updates to. Maybe in JP the expectations in that regard are different.

I think this is probably the millionth example of things being deployed without any public test and fucking everyone's experience. Working in the industry I'm pretty sure there was an higher up push but who knows. Only thing that I know is that there could've been a 3-days public beta with crossplay for pass and Xbox user and this could've been found out immediately and fixed, instead of releasing it all now and watching the playerbase suffer the consequences. Tl;dr PLEASE Game Industry test your features before releasing them.

Didn't like the changes Strive made to it's gameplay very much, but I still had some fun with it until I kept getting the "cannot connect to duel station" error constantly. And that was last year, so yeah I can't imagine trying to play it now with this stuff. Lol.

yeah i pretty much stopped playing strive for the past 2 weeks. same reason i dropped kof as well. i have no tolerance for games that lack basic functionality and waste my time as a result. theres too many other games that will simply work when i go to play them.

Some real life stuff is getting in the way such that for a few weeks I literally cant play even if I want to, if I get back by then it'll have been 6 weeks if its still not fixed that's an utter travesty

it's been so disheartening just wanting to get some games and be met with one of the worst online experiences in any game i've played, this reminds of a year ago more or less that the latam servers just wouldn't work and it took like 3 weeks or even more to get them fixed.

​​@@Drawfill no Killer Instinct might still actually have the best netcode even today (it's at least on par with Strive). That's part of why people complained so much about rollback this issue was solved YEARS before even sfv came out

I pray this gets fixed with the character. Or idk, just take away the xbx crossplay for a lil bit. I know it probably sucks, but the people cant play. I love strive and im really scared that this will cause permanent damage to the game

I guess as a side note I saw a post on twitter that disabling crossplay does fix the problem(but obviously that hurts the pc/ps4 thing)

If you disable cross play you can only play with players who have also disabled crossplay, which is also not a great experience. But it does work, you're right! Probably a better experience overall

It's insane to me that the game has been in this state for 2 whole weeks and we still don't have an update on what's going on. If this happened in say, league, we would have constant updates on social media/websites. Of course Arcsys is not as big as Riot, but surely its not that costly to have someone write twitter updates or make small articles on what the issues are and the steps being taken to fix them. Having this right after the hacker issue is very bad PR for a mostly online $60 game. We need more transparency from the devs when things like this happen, they can’t expect for people to buy the season pass when we don’t know if we are even going to be able to play the game.

Literally dropped this game and picked up Granblue instead, insane that game works just fine with 1/10th the playerbase
