Definitely. Once you’ve thoroughly boiled the dried elderberries, you can store the elderberry liquid for a few days. You can use it to make tea or infuse it with fruit and honey for a refreshing drink.

Hi! Usually it last about 3 weeks for me. If you’d like, you could place it in the freezer and it will last up to 3 months. You can also place it in I’ve cube trays and place it in the freezer. Then you to take out the amount you need to use when you need.

Key limes would be good. Too much lemon or lime would counter the effects of sea moss. I am experimenting now with using organic pasteurized fruit juice in replace of elderberries.

If your sea moss gel is thicker because you had it in the refrigerator, what’s the best way to get it to a more liquid state for making the gummies? The elderberry/ginger combo sounds great!

I’ve used it out of the fridge several times. Usually when I add it to the heat it becomes more liquid. If it’s still too thick, I add a bit of alkaline water or remaining elderberry Ginger liquid to achieve my desired consistency, which rarely ever happens. (I’ve only had to add a bit of liquid once so far and I’ve made them over 2 dozen times). Hope this helps!
