Very cool testing the gains with the dyno. A little surprised how soon the power started dropping. I have seen other dyno testing where peak HP was at a much higher RPM than here. Their numbers may look a little different if the engine was heat cycled a few times then dyno at a normal operating temp. In other words, dyno when the engine is completely warmed up. If you are running governed you don't need 18lb valve springs. At this RPM the stock springs may have gotten a touch higher power numbers because it takes more power to move an 18lb spring than it does to move a 10lb spring.

Can you dyno a stick predator ghost? Can the ghost use the fuel tank and gravity feed to the carb or does it need a fuel pump?

Anyone know if I do all these changes except the valve springs will that affect the effectiveness of the kit or my motor?
@trevinskiking21653 жыл бұрын
Dominic for someone with a vested interest you'd think your qstn would be answered - yes not swapping out the stock v/springs will effect the engine & how high you can rev it before potentially damaging valve float.T goodluck
