GoPro Hero 7 Side-Shot

Hopefully this video explains a little more about using a GoPro camera with our Side-Shot system. Some of the very best footage we’ve seen has come from these GoPro cameras. You cant use a regular stock GoPro camera and get the results we get. The lens is too wide angle and is constantly trying to focus on different objects through the scope. So with using a fixed lens, it gives you the ability to just simply adjust your parallax on your scope and your picture is in focus. Although expensive, we absolutely love the Backbone Hero 7 and what it’s capable of. This is the most compact incredible filming device we have ever come across!

I’ll take one please!! I like the thought of just pushing a button to record and adjust parallax then shoot. Especially when you have targets at many different ranges. Then having to readjust settings on the phone. It’s okay when just posted up in one spot. Looks great guys. Thanks for sharing an update.

jtnm76 yes. Very easy to use. We’ve also used scopes with no parallax adjustment (1-8 power 3 gun scopes) then it’s just point and shoot. Don’t have to do any adjustment👍🏻

Hi dear I have gopro hero 7 black 4k and purchased eaglevision lense 1 /1.8 12mm lense and have gopro sidshot. I adjust the lense in hero 7 black but video is not clear please any suggestions to making clear video or tell me any setting video

Wow $1250 I thought it would be more given the quality. I just received mine and its worth every penny!.. A friend doesn't like it but admitted its because he's poor and uses a Polaroid ductaped to his Daisy ! Well done guys !

It is the backbone GoPro that makes it expensive.They should buy GoPro's and change out the lens to bring down the cost.

I purchased the Cell phone mount. I have issues with battery life on the phone. I thought of getting the gopro mount, but don’t want to pay an an additional 59.99 for the scope mounting ring as I already have the 30 & 34 mm rings for my different scope. I have emailed and called with no response. I guess i will look at different systems. I like the idea of buying from US company but not if they are non responsive.

KPutubing so there is a mount if you look up “Torrey pines GoPro” it is just for regular gopros but very expensive for only a mount. Also a regular GoPro won’t work as well as one with a fixed lens.

Bruce Chen I have two on the way they were around $103 so that’s about $51.50 for one. I have a GoPro SideShot Scope can on the way for the 5,6,7 GoPro Hero Black it was $279.99. Got a new GoPro 7 Hero Black off Amazon for $239 with a 32 gig card and two extra batteries.I have the phone version of the SideShot Scope cam it is very good and gives awesome video and easy to use. But I have a IPhone and it is a pain to get the video from it to my computer so a GoPro will be a lot easier.
