Since Gordons visit, they have steadily increased bookings. The kitchen has been reorganised and they have hired a new head chef. Jimmy has stepped up as General Manager and Marta has been able to take a step back. Jimmy has lost 65lb since filming and has been on a three day intensive course to improve his management skills. The Yelp reviews and the Trip Advisor reviews are both excellent. The place holds a 4.3 rating in Google reviews, The hotel now holds over 100 weddings a year. They have continued to make renovations to the property and in 2018 built a new block of hotel rooms. This new addition includes 14 new suites in what has been named The Stables.

i think this is the most wholesome hotel hell episode bc the owners arent stubborn neither are they delusional, they were just lost and fell back a bit. all they needed was guidance and i’m glad they were hopeful and accepted the change gordon implemented and stuck w it.

I really enjoyed this episode. Marta, Jimmy and their staff really listened to Gordon. Jimmy being so honest with Gordon, you could see Gordon appreciated it, not having to deal with the usual "I'm an executive chef, everyone loves our food blah,blah. The wedding couple were brave 😂 but they trusted Gordon. It's lovely to see comments on here saying that the place is successful. I hope T-Rex has been replaced with a dragon in keeping with the castle theme.
