I am a Chef and sometimes I am not a fan of some of his recipes. However I am going to give him some Props for this Recipe, Very Nice. And for up and coming Chefs I recommend learning how to utilize Fresh Herbs. It makes food taste So Much Better!!!

This was my first time watching Gordon Ramsay. I remember seeing commercials of him yelling at everyone so I never bothered to tune in. Gordon did a marvelous job teaching how to make chicken cacciatore. He was a complete gentleman and this was a wonderful tutorial. I will be making this recipe.

Made this. Astonishingly simple yet crazy tasty. Can’t wait to get my annual cherry tomato crop in to serve this for a large group. Used boneless skinless thighs and not sure I miss the chicken skin. Sauce is amazing and the broccolini is simple and excellent. Cut its balsamic in half and it was still almost too much. So good! Thx, Chef!

Glad to say this is fairly similar to my version. Brown the chicken pieces, then make a soffritto with onion, celery, carrot, Italian herbs, and anchovies. Add mushrooms. add then cook off the tomato paste. add red wine and reduce. Chicken stock, reduce. Canned tomatoes. Add pitted Kalamata olives. Add chicken back in. Season (not too much salt as the anchovies do that job). Oven for quite a while to reduce and cook the chicken through.

Awesome recipe! First chicken cacciatore recipe I enjoyed making, First time I made polenta, first comment I heard from someone was "the polenta is so creamy!" Thank you! I don't have a gas oven or a grill, but I broiled the "Broccolette" turned out brilliant! I can't wait to make this again with my induction oven!

Thank you for showing all the cooking techniques. Avoiding hot oil splashing on one's arm is very helpful as with finishing cooking the chicken in the oven while preparing the side dishes to allow the whole meal to arrive on the plate at a consistent temperature.
