Gordon Ramsay even in his fifties is still very active and is always busy globe trotting.
While promoting his new show “The F Word” on Friday (Thursday in the US), British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to judge a burger cook-off between two contestants. Contestants presented on one side a Bison and Chorizo Double Stacked Burger and on the other side, a Pork Adobo Burger
The Pork Adobo Burger, which was prepared by 25-year-old Maura Hohman, was oozing with juices and seasonings. The burger patty was a mixture of grounded bacon and adobo staples such as soy sauce, pepper, bay leaves and vinegar.
Ramsay lauded Hohman’s burger and recognized that she used the Filipino favorite pan de sal instead of the usual burger bun. “It’s seasoned beautifully,” Ramsay complimented. “And the bun, that’s a traditional Filipino bread. It’s delicious.”
Despite praising the rival’s dish, Ramsay picked Hohman’s Filipino-inspired burger as the segment’s star. “I’m going with the Filipino burger,” he said.

@@imagoodieboy7790 EXACTLY!!! THAT'S WHY IT IS FAKE NEWS simply because the NEWS is FAKE! Are you a jellyfish??? Come on have some common sense!!! You cannot flash a piece of news without doing fact-checking for falsehood. A responsible journalist should have interviewed the hotel who served the food to athletes so that both sides were heard. And let me tell you that according to the management of the hotel, the food that was served to the athletes was just complementary as their way to support our athletes. It was not paid by the government because there are foods prepared for them provided by the Philippine sports commission. Imagine the negative impact of this fake news on the image of the hotel when in fact it was merely helping.

Filing food usually don’t have as many spices as some people expect because of their isolation from the rest of the SEA region during their Spanish colonial days, and thus they were not that influenced by Indian culture which uses a lot of spices in their cuisine. But they sure know their way around chilis and know which ones are gonna be more spicy and stuff like that.
