Agreed. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of learning to cook guided by my grandmother, mom, and aunts, especially around the holidays. I remember feeling so grown up when everything was laid out on the table and looking at the various dishes thinking, "I helped make that!" Now all these years later (I'm 32 as of 2020), I'm often left in charge of homemade desserts around the holidays (and other special occasions) and I take great joy and pride in that.

From a family of multiple generations of excellent chefs that are Italian from Italy and the United States deep south, and Ramsey is on a completely different level. He creates dishes I've never even seen before using techniques that are very uncommon. Hes far beyond the norm. Hes not the GOAT, but hes really fucking good. He uses only the best quality ingredients, fresh herbs and seasonings making everything from scratch with no shortcuts. He mostly freestyles all his dishes without using any measurements or recipes for reference. Thats a combination of skill an dedication your average professional chef doesn't have. In short, your a troll who has no idea what your talking about.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that he's cooking an entire meal for his family on Christmas, teaching his children the wonders of cooking, helping them wrap a gift for mum to teach the art of giving, worrying about his daughter going to a party whether there would be boys, and teaching them to never waste anything even though he's a very rich man and is humble as anything. This man deserves father and husband of the year, like if you agree
@jb67123 жыл бұрын
You do know the show was filmed well in advance of Christmas, don't you? He didn't film it on Christmas day! He does cook their holiday dinner, but it's he and his wife, not just him. Back when this was made, of course, his daughters helped him, perhaps his first son. Oscar wasn't even born yet, of course.
@LeisaCashel Жыл бұрын
No, he's NOT cooking an entire meal for his family! It's probably for the film crew. This whole episode is recorded for cash money. And no, it's NOT Christmas Day. Why does Gordon Ramsey deserve father and husband of the year? Most fathers worry about their kids going to parties, and I'm sure there's plenty of waste in the Ramsey household. Gordon Ramsey is very rich, you certainly nailed that one. "Humble as anything?" Are you serious? Take time to think.

My favorite chef! ❤️💕 I can watch him all day cooking and never get tired … not only a great chef but a good father to his kid and I adored how he and his children and his wife’s relationship. Loved them!💕❤️
I love that he gets his kids involved in all his cooking😃

Actually, this is pretty bad. He's way too fast! Kid's need to be doing this themselves, to build their confidence. This way, cooking will never be hers but her fathers profession.

I love watching Tilly watch and help her dad when she was little. She is like a sponge absorbing everything he's doing.
@kathleenclark58773 жыл бұрын
So nice to know that years down the way, Tilly is following in her father’s footsteps. In other videos when his kids are chopping vegetables, you can sense his anxiety lest they chop their fingers instead.

That's good that he's teaching then not to wast at a early age.
@SophieJackson19934 жыл бұрын
Especially living a life of luxury, their dad being a millionaire chef. I’m sure they waste a lot already, so yeah, it’s good if it’s consistent with him - don’t waste the food. Their leftovers from one party or social gathering could feed an entire shelter.

I watched your video, The Perfect Scrambled Eggs, about 10 years ago, and ever since, I’ve cooked that way: slow, flavorful, and buttery. It's the best!
