Bruce, you’d be in the majority of the Church of Christ. We observe the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. You’re presenting excellent material here. Thanks!

Vss. 1-5: As you were talking, a parallel came to mind that tremendously illustrate the message of these verses. The book of Esther. The king had a feast and invited Queen Vashti to come to the feast, but refused. Parallel: The religious leaders among the Jews were invited, but they turned their backs on the One Who invited them. Vashti was banished, and eventually, Esther was chosen to be queen in her place. She was ALWAYS accepted to come into the presence of the king and make her requests known. Parallel: The bride (the church) has become the queen, and is ALWAYS able to come into the presence of the King and make her requests. Esther submitted herself to the king in every way. Parallel: the bride, in humility, submits to the King, and, in this way, continues in that intimate relationship, koinonia (I love the way that word just rolls so easily off the tongue), with the King and will throughout eternity. The parallel is so amazing that it seems that the book of Esther was written to show what was to come in the future that we are now experiencing.

Amen and Amen. Thank you, Lord. I cannot even thank you enough Lord for bringing Bruce Gore to be your ' de facto' as my Rabbi ouch!, Amazing. Really a turning point! Makes so much sense and the explanation of the terminologies blends in with the book's themes and the bible in general Amazing. Well researched Bruce and may the good lord continue to reward you richly with his spirit of prophecy and to bless and keep you well.

Anyone else getting alot of feedback during this video? No matter, still another great biblical teaching Mr Gore, thank you much, you help shed light on Revelation w/ your deep knowledge of scripture & history. Two, I believe rock solid texts for this view that you pointed out are; Jesus telling the high priest Caiaphas, & Jewish leaders, you will see Me sitting at the right hand of power & coming in the clouds of heaven, which they knew was Old Test judgement language. Also literal interpretation or futurist always say the smoke will rise forever when Mystery Babylon is destroyed but similar was spoken of Edom, & Sodom & Gomorrah, symbolic figurative language used. God bless & may we all grow in the grace of Christ Jesus, by the light of the Holy Spirit

I certainly liked the emphasis placed on the church rather than Israel, which the camp of the dispensationalist is totally focused on, with the church tethered to the salvation of national Israel in a fatalistic sense.

The "Church" (I really don't like that term), is The Israel of God, resurrected and recapitulated under the Christ/Anointed Son of David.

The first 4 verses of Rev. Ch.1 thwarts any favorability for dispensational premillennialism. "Shorty come to pass" literally means immediately, which completely makes sense, since this writing was specifically directed to "seven churches in Asia." Some unfortunately from the current group of premil folks believe that the Apocalypse was written directly to them in the 21st century. For these it is a must, or how else can their many televangelists make hoards of money, to afford their private jets, etc., from book sales and the like.

Always a good lie from the liar who leads others to the path of destruction! If you think it's okay to worship an image, you are docile and lost! Better go read the 10 Commandments again and again!

Greetings Bruce - You mentioned a book "Under the Influence (of Grace)". Can you tell me the author or post a link? All I find are books regarding alcoholism. Thanks!
I had a misunderstanding of the bride until I listened to this. The bride is anyone, Jew or gentile, that repents and turns to Jesus. I thought upon reading this before listening, Israel was the bride and would eventually come to there senses and repent. Romans 11 says that Israel has been hardened but will eventually have their sins forgiven. They have to come to Christ the same way we do as gentiles. They must receive the same spirit. Sadly much of the church is fractured full of false teaching and teachers.

Biblical Israel doesn’t exist after 70 AD, so whatever Romans 11 means, it must concern Israel up to 70 AD. The Deliverer did lead the true Israel FROM Zion when the remnant Jewish Christians, under the admonition of Jesus in His Olivet discourse, were led out of Jerusalem (Zion). This was immediately after the Roman General Gallus, with his armies, had surrounded Jerusalem and left the city in 66 AD, as Eusebius confirms. Many people, when reading this passage, believe that it says "all Jews shall be saved," but the text actually says "all Israel." True Israel had previously been defined by Paul.

I agree that is a potent argument made by some, but not embraced by other quite competent commentators.
