@@w1975b oh wow, I didn't know that about ghee. I get migraines after going to Ocean Basket, I guess that they reuse the oil they fry chips in multiple times and that becomes "poison" to a migraineur, then there is that delicious lemon butter sauce poured over the fish. Healthy food can become toxic if cooked in old re-used oil (even olive oil) and then the butter in the sauce. So difficult to eat out as a migraineur - or eating oer at friends. Food is a social activity, so it becomes tricky to navigate. There must be a solution!

I'm trying my hardest to cut out any triggers but it's hard to keep living life like that. And there's factors I can't control, like barometric pressure and hormonal headaches. I have Theraspec glasses to help with light triggers and I've cut out several foods. I have an oil roller than I keep handy a well as an eye mask. I use blue light filter on all my devices. And I'm on daily medication. But I still get migraines 4-5 times a month, if there's no rain. It's honestly miserable.

According to Ayurveda, the condition of migraine is termed as ‘’Ardhavbhedhak’’ and it occurs due to an imbalance in tridosha or the three basic energy types: Vata (wind energy), Pitta (fire energy), and Kapha (water energy). Out of these three, Vata and Pitta dosha is mainly responsible for this disorder. Their imbalance causes deep-rooted problems in the body, including weakened digestive and nervous systems. Vata is responsible for the nervous system and brain activity. Pitta controls the dilation of the blood vessels. By studying the external symptoms, it is possible to identify which of the three doshas is causing the attack. CHANDIGARH AYURVED CENTRE

More like 50 million Americans suffer with Migraines. Also, my migraines are caused by a hole in my heart, a condition known as PFO. Not all migraines are due to external triggers. I have always been told my migraines would lessen with age. Unfortunately, they’re much worse now more than ever. There is a procedure for closing the hole but it’s only about 50% effective. I have mitral value prolapse, so just not willing to risk more damage to my heart
@00BeesKnees002 жыл бұрын
I think my mitral valve prolapse is linked with my migraines. The migraines and heart palpitations became worse when I used a diuretic which made me dehydrated all the time. I read somewhere that dehydration can induce MVP in normal hearts by shrinking the heart. Drinking lots of water has helped migraine sufferers. I guess it makes sense because dehydration in non-sufferers causes symptoms similar to migraine. Not saying drinking water will help your PFO. I hope you do get to resolve both the hole in the heart and migraines.
