Spoke to you over text but for the viewers, the TI automotive is a walbro hellcat pump. 525lph, it has about 100 miles on it. Pretty much the biggest baddest fuel pump with a check valve so you can also run it as a secondary(hello caravan death machine?) and the purple pump is a Racetronix 340. The 340 has served me well but methanol has been crutching it along for my fuel demands. I initially went to 525 but decided to just go to dual pumps partially out of boredom and I was already doing a bunch of fuel stuff anyways. Both of these pumps ran fine when pulled. Both pumps have the Venturi jet pump design for sump bucket setups(the small line), The Venturi setup in a bucket would be good for a race car with short run times running low gas for weight but street cars will eventually overheat the small amount of localized fuel in the bucket and lead to pump cavitation, so you will want to cut holes in the bucket to allow pump to draw fresh and cool fuel from the tank. These jet pump lines must be hooked up to the pump regardless if you use them or not, just loop them up and point them back down into the bucket above the fuel pump. Both pumps are E85 ready. The bulkhead and Hotwire kit are pretty much required for the 525 and it is plug and play, however you may have to extend the leads for the truck. It has a fused link from battery to the relay, relay is triggered by the stock pump wiring, however it can easily be modified to be triggered by a Hobbs switch etc to get a nice dual pump setup or just slap it in and run a single pump. I have acquired a couple 340s over the course of my time so I threw a fresh set of leads on the 340 and gave you a metripack connector to put on it that will mate to the HD bulkhead to fuel pump upgraded harness. Hopefully you can use these and I hope this helps you get closer to that meth kit we talked about!

That’s awesome! It kills me to have to cut holes in the stock bucket but I don’t want to overheat the pumps. I’ll be looking into a Hobbs switch, a dual pump would be nice to have.

@@StationroadRatrods yea it was rough for me too! If I were you, I would use the Hotwire kit on the rat rod with the 340, NA that pump should support 700-800hp. And then plan on running a fresh 10 gauge power wire to the big Johnson walbro pump as a secondary on the desperado. You’d really just need a T fitting to mate the pump outlets together. What injectors are you going to run on the desperado once you turbo it and are the stock regulators at 4 bar like the cars?
