Just a suggestion... If you’re going to do a hair dye review video, it’d have been nice to see your hair. Since the camera was pointed more at you chest all but your bangs was cropped. Also to get an accurate representation of the actual color, you need full spectrum light. Sunlight is the most easy/affordable way to do this. I understand filming outside isn’t always an option but just snap a few pictures and you can insert them into the video... so that’s also an option if it’s hard to get your hair in the shot while filming.

I think your hair looks so pretty. I just did this color last night. I had platinum high lights with medium ash brown roots. It turned out very nice but next time I will use 10 vol instead of the 20 volume it comes with because it is pretty strong. I went in the back nape area and did it solid with urban mauve color. Then I went up the head in the back and fine tuned the spacing of the blonde with the urban mauve as a lowlight and to fix any warmth near the apex. I do not suggest going near the root with this color until about 5 to 10 minutes before the total color is finished due to the strength of lift if you want your roots to have more depth. Or save some color on the side and mix the color only with 10 volume for your roots. I was so surprised that even 20 minutes later as I was still applying that the last few strands I did still had the potency as the first section I did. I have to say I LOVE the color!

@@mariaabetrev it didnt it just was a very light dish water blonde I was mad and then last night I did the metallic blue and now my hair is blue and grey so I hate this formula hair dye. I dye my hair and know how to do my hair but this brand is the worst I've ever used.

I have the box. Am scared to use it. I've been growing out my bleach highlights to go back to my natural color but the blonde is not all gone. Should i use it. I said i wouldnt die my hair again, actually i said i wouldn't bleach it again, but this color is so pretty. WHAT SHOULD I DO??

ok so I just wanted to put this out in the comments for all you hatin on the hair dye. This dye does work and you need to leave it on for over an hour because it does work and i've used it 3 times if you work it in good enough and leave it in for an hour or so it turns out good (the first time I did it it only got my roots), also everyone's hair is different so it kinda verys on how it will turn out. ps with her framing maybe she doesn't have everything to make it pitch perfect so yall can chill dear lord. Just bought this but was worried it might make my hair brassy (my hair pulls SUPER brassy even when a colorist tries to keep it cool) so I'll probably wait on this and just get Arctic Fox. Although that being said, if I thought my results would look like yours I would do it. Super cute! My hair is just way too dark to be sure.

🩷🩶 hey there, Yes ur canvas is very important for the outcome on dyes box ones u never know what ur gettin at times inside sometimes they put very HIGH %% developer in them bottles sometimes 30-45 volume ive seen in some box dye items. But the Metallics Silver kind NEVER sticks to my hair pigment when blonde not not sure why ive tried silver and the smokey silver one before going 2 try the mauve today unfortunately doing my underneath though only😂......

I just got a box of this I forgot I used another metallic same brand and I needed 2 box's I never need 2 box's I was mad and I had even pre bleached my hair so the color would take but no , this one I was thinking to use for streaks hope it's cute looking for a almost greyish streaks

You are brave, I have level 10 platinum ash blonde hair with darker roots level 8 but been wanting to add that Mauve Metallic to my root area on top of the level 8. I wonder if it will make it look amazing and different or I will have to do the lemon/conditioner and strip it out 😕 ??? I want an exotic but classy look for me 42yrs old. Don't want to add Reds back into my Ash

I just bought this dye yesterday because I really want colored hair but I can’t with my job and I thought this would be low key enough that they wouldn’t really care so now I’m afraid it will be too purple :( I went from brunette to blonde since it’s basically all I can do but I just can’t get use to the blonde, I don’t feel like myself. also I like your glasses!

I think as long as you don’t leave it on too long and your hair isn’t too light, it should be fine. And even if it is too purple, mine faded after like 3 showers lol and thanks!

Nice! Sorry it didn't turn out how you were hoping, though. The only semi-permanent dyes I've tried are Manic Panic and Punky Color. Both washed out pretty quick, sadly. Would love to see more dye videos from you!

I dyed my white roots with this and it just took the edge off the glaring bright white in contrast to my dark colored hair. But it hardly looked different. Not very pigmented.

I wonder if you used 10vol, it would deposit better and not lift your natural color. Sounds like the strong odor was cause the developer being strong

It is 10 vol. Plus needed to read instructions. There is a reason why there are 3 results colors on back on box that this color is recommended for. Plus it also states it should not be applied over any previous hair color

When I use this brand (not this specific metallic) it takes 3 months to fully fade and it’s always a blonde when it fades. I’ve done my roots with SPLAT (there’s still tints of purple) while my ends were the blue mercury METALLIC (it’s now blonde without bleaching before)

im so mad at this hair dye. My hair is medium to dark brown, and the bottom half was blonde. it was colored previously professionally but had faded to the blonde. i was tired of how it looked so i got this hair dye to spice things up. BIG FAIL. it turned my blonde into a light brown, and gave my dark brown hair a warmer brown look. My hair looks fine, its not ruined, but its NOTHING like the box said it would be. im so mad. next time ill look for a review.

Do not leave this in your hair for 2 hours like she said she did. I left it in an hour and a half and It burnt my hair. I got in the shower to wash it out and my hair started breaking off in some places to the scalp.

Pro tip: your hair has to be platinum blonde for these colors to work. If there’s any other color on your hair than just white... it won’t work.

Yeah this brand box dye is exactly like a bleach/toner/tint. If that makes sense. It is not like SPLAT or AF or the dyes that are basic “paints” or shampoo or whatever. THIS specific brand will lift the brass off, just as bleach, and tone it to the specific colour on the box. That “colour” is obviously a mellow/soft brown, but metallic. But it’s not dye smh. This metallic brand is not dye. Smh. It’s like a toner. And if you leave it in for longer than 30 mins you will damage your hair. Any shade from this brand will have a bad aroma, like ammonia. Just as bleach. They will wash out fully within 3 months. This is my go to brand because I don’t like putting bleach on my hair and if I want to wash the colour out this lifts after a couple of washes. And it always leaves my hair blonde with no leftover colour. But know before you buy, this will affect your hair like a toner bleach whatever and it will not smell good and it will damage your hair if you leave it in longer than 30 mins and it is not a one bottle application, you will have to mix chemicals. This is not like splat where you just rub it into ur head. This is not like those one bottle applications where the dye comes made and it’s thick and u rub it in like shampoo. This process is like you’re toning your hair. Or you’re bleaching it but bam when u wash it out there’s colour. And it will wash out quick. It does not bleed like splat. And that’s all be nice everyone. This is just my opinion and point of view from using the product many many many times
