@@StrykerD No that's just when you awaken (red energy bar in the bottom right is full) basically it just lets you have a temporary power-up which you can use in any form. You can usually tell the difference between transformations by either the lightning around the player or the bottom right character image changing to represent the new form (Gohans hair gets longer and his eyes get more angry in ssj2).

All living things have "Ki" or Chi if you wanna put it in real world terms. Martial Arts in this universe are developed not to only learn how to strike with your body but also control Ki . Ki helps you fly , protects your body and you can expell it like energy waves. Gohan just teached Videl how to control her Ki in order to fly . Saiyans have an inmese ammount of Ki and are able to increase that by training , emotional trauma or almost dying thats why they are so powerful. There is a theory that Goten and Trunks can turn super saiyan more easly because they were concieved by Saiyans who can already do it so is like genetic thing.

Anyone can learn to use Ki if one learns correctly. Krillin is basically a normal human too. At the start of the Saiyan arc, in the manga, Vegeta explains that if a sayain makes a child out of a human, the child is very strong, more than most saiyans. That's why Gohan was so strong. Apparently, since Goku was even more powerful when he created Goten, Goten is OP even earlier.

The anime moment for goku meeting goten is cute, but how the manga handled it makes more sense. Its natural for a kid to feel guarded and shy towards an adult he doesnt know. Regardless if said adult is his father, Goku is still a complete stranger to him. It also stays consistent with a scene that occurs later in the arc, where Goten is too shy to ask Goku for a hug before he leaves to other world.

Marron is actually my favorite character because there’s a lot to unpack there. Krillin got strong through training on the Lookout, and 18 through cybernetics and nanomachines. Marron would have neither (she’d likely have to go through school and have little time to train). But she grew up around people like Trunks and Goten. The latter is within two years of her age. She’ll be a smart girl when she gets older. Reality will hit her hard. But she’ll have options. And her parents won’t like them.

A few things. Chi-Chi taught Goten how to fight and the reason Goten initially figured out how to turn into a super saiyan is because he got mad when his mother yelled at him one day. Also the reason Goten looks almost exactly like Goku is because Chi-Chi missed Goku and kind of tried to replace him hence her teaching him to fight and cutting his hair like Goku's. .-.

Flying is just a technique. It requires a lot of ki control, but it's a very easy skill. Videl might have no experience using ki, but she's been a high level martial artist her entire life, so she was very quick to pick it up. The first characters in the show to fly are Tien and Chouzo - it's a technique of their martial arts school. But presumably they either taught it to everyone or the others reasoned out how to do it (Picollo was born with the ability to fly though, since he's a Namekian and was born with the ability to manipulate ki at a high level).

Funny thing about Dende. He should look as old as Piccolo. When Goku fought Piccolo in the tournament he was like 3 years old, but had the body of an adult. Yet Dende is almost the same age as Gohan but he looks younger than him.
