As someone that shops at Killstar and YRU while looking at Demonia and others, I can see why the guy's outfit costs $600. For someone that doesn't know that alternative style is mostly DIY(Or wants to go vamp goth, I wish my wallet would let me do that), they're going to look up alternative style stores and find super expensive clothes! But videos and guides on how to dress alternative without spending a TON of money are always the best, that way people know they can dress like that without spending hundreds of dollars!

I think a great lesson to learn here is no matter how you define yourself or how other people see you, as long as you're doing what makes you happy and wearing what makes you feel great that's what you should do. I've been around long enough that I remember on some of your earlier KZbin's and Instagrams and how much gawker's and people staring at you bothered you it's great when you can finally be free and get the IDGAF what you think confidence! You're such a strong ally for positivity and building people up! I think it's great how you use your platforms. You're such an awesome person I don't care how you dress and if anyone else does then the heck with them.

Hi, have you ever ventured over to England to attend one of the world's biggest goth festivals in Whitby on the east coast of England. Whitby is where Bram Stocker stayed and was inspired to write the Dracula novel after visiting and seeing the ruined Abbey and churchyard at the top of the famous 199 steps facing out to sea.

My husband has worked for the morge and picked up bodies for over 6 yrs. he just found a better paying job taking bodies from funeral home to funeral home. After prepped, makeup or cremated. He loves it. He is more on the goth alternative vibe. Great video oh and my husband has taken me to the graveyards many times. He is the best and very happy 😊

As a municipal worker, I have been asking for eleven years to be allowed to participate in an excavation!! Whenever others were sik of it , I repeated my wish. Until finally that day when I could prove myself!! There they were shocked at how much faster the work went and how I managed to handel that body!! We all had a different reason. It can be just all about what they want to dress like, etc.but I'm old school. No obsession with death, no band shirts ever in my life, just my style and not a clone. Just fun and in the day the punks and goths which are so close were the nicest regular people with day jobs. My boyfriend likes to explore graveyards with me and a competition to find the oldest. Near the boonies so don't see any anymore. Just at Renaissance fairs if they ever come back. Close by and buildings have been there for a long time.

The tag GOTH, may have been created in the 80s, but I honestly believe it's been around much longer than that.. And though I do have a weird observation with death...I don't like watching things die.. I've seen it all my life and have literally held those I care about in my arms and watched as they gasped for air and the light in their eyes went out... and it has gotten harder on me each time it happens.. People do look at you weird in public though, goth is not a big thing around where I am, and I went into town with something a bit more low-key goth I guess you could say, and everyone was starting at me really weird and just kinda kept their distance. And I wasn't even wearing any makeup and I don't have any tattoos or piercings, I really don't know what the big deal is 🤦🏼‍♀️

There are so many other reasons why I love you as well. I don't want you to think I only watch and am standing you just for ur appearance, I think you are honest, inciteful, hilarious, and engaging as well. I enjoy watching you talk bout your life, religion and life experience. I have had many similar instances with Christians reacting to my blue hair and goth look. In last few years though, I've had many elderly ladies and a few elderly gentleman stop me to tell me how much they love my blue hair. It always catches me off guard but in the best way.

I really appreciate what Anthony does with these videos. I’ve also watched the Witch video since I’m Pagan. My one and only criticism with this Goth video is that he doesn’t include at least 1 elder goth. Which is surprising because he did include an elder Witch. I’m someone on the cusp of being elder goth so I can see how some older representation would’ve been nice. Overall, though, I like how respectful he is with his interviews. Side note: Caitlin is a total trip! Would highly recommend Ask a Mortician.

Absolute garbage... reaction videos are not goth I'm so sick of seeing alternative people passing themselves off as overly concerned about death via looks when it's obvious as the smile and preen for attention. But it's all good calling things that aren't Goth not Goth is one of my favorite parts of Goth subculture.
