Doing this would ensure the deaths of thousands of innocents, mainly the Kurds, it would be a bloodbath for them since Turkey has indicated that would be the case. Just like when we suddenly left Viet Nam and thousands from the opposition were murdered. Trump could care less about anyone but himself and making more money. He listened to the dictator of Turkey asking him to get out of Syria so he could get rid of the Kurds. We would had lost many of our brave soldier's had not the Kurds assisting our military. So, you have it wrong, as a Democrat I am against war not against saving the life of those who have helped us.

I usually love Bill Maher, EXCEPT . . . when he won't let the other guy talk. How many times did Christie answer clearly and directly, but Maher cut him off or over-talked him, even when Christie was already agreeing with what Maher was driving at? Sometimes, Bill, ya need to zip it, or at least LISTEN before you jump in.
@dyates63805 жыл бұрын
Maher is a coward and does this whenever he senses he's about to lose an argument or point. He has a history of changing the subject when his "pet" and simple audience is silent when a conservative starts winning, so he quickly changes gears. Soy boy.

As a Pro-Bernie, all-my-life-progressive, I still have something of a soft spot for Chris Christie. I can't defend it, reasonably I should hate him. I would support John Kasich or Jeb Bush more based on policy, experience, or temperament. But it's there and I can't explain it.

Winston Sullivan I feel with you so much, I think it has 2 reasons: 1. He is just a great actor and deep down in his heart he must be a likeable guy, 2. The conversation isn’t rly about politics, ultimately he just tries to sell his book. Just my oppinion

DynaCatlovesme Good question.
@wesleyaustin61195 жыл бұрын
The accountable person is the individual who is ultimately answerable for the activity or decision. This includes “yes” or “no” authority and veto power. Only one accountable person can be assigned to an action. The responsible person is the individual(s) who actually complete the task. www.workfront.com/blog/accountability-vs-responsibility-in-project-management

With friends like Christy, you certainly wouldn't need enemies. It's good to be self- deprecating, and it's always good to have conversations with people you don't agree with, but it seems like Christy's attitude harbours a few sour grapes. You dont just make up convenient talking points according to who your audience is- you're either someone's friend, or not.

People in NJ really liked Christie at one point. Especially after Sandy it seemed like he was really taking care of the state. But then his second term he went and fucked it all up by pandering to the radical republicans and defunded transportation in our state and ruined pensions. Poor governor in retrospect and i wouldnt vote for him again but he started off strong.
