My parents re-located to FL from NY in 1987. I recall back then when shopping for my usual Carlo Rossi 1 gal jug wine, the FL bottles were a bit smaller at 3L from all northern States 1 gal (3.89L) size. When I asked the FL wine merchants about this, they were all very defensive (but very supportive) of this 3L bottle size limitation - their rationales seemed crazy... that the larger 3.89L size bottles had more glass and more glass = more danger, or that the extra .89L of wine would cause more drunken driving. As a wine consumer, it was a rip-off... almost a liter less wine for the same price as up north. So the US (mostly California) wine makers offered both 3L (just for FL!) and the 3.89L size bottles (for the rest of the US!). I notice that all the "boxed" wines sold in the FL are also limited to 3L. So it'll be interesting to start watching for the nationally common 1 gal (3.89L) glass & box sizes to soon replace these odd FL-only 3L sizes. After many decades - it's about time! (Note: It's apparent that 99.999% of new business resulting from this legislation will come from the move of 3L to 3.89L containers - not these odd ball ~4 gal bottles alongside Gov DeSantis that might sell a dozen or two a year!)

We are 42nd in livable wages, but first in unlivable cost of living since 2022, 1st in teacher positions openings, Tampa area is still living with 12% inflation, no help for hurricane victims except from Joe Biden. Tiny man couldn't even greet the President of the US who is the only one paying our infrastructure. Hurricane help? Thank Biden. Where is our little governor? You see him, doing nothing as always.

Why not do something to help Floridians after taking a years vacation on our tax dollars? How about helping Ian victims get restitution or bringing down property taxes? Maybe do what your campaign promise was ---"fixing" the insurance crisis? Why can't you ever do something for the people who pay you?

When I moved from NY to Florida in 2014 - a 5 ltr. Bag in a Box of Sutter Home White Zinfandel was selling for $14. I get to Florida and the 5 Ltr. Isn’t even sold - just a 3 Ltr. The 3 Ltr. Is selling for the same price of the 5 Ltr. In NY.. Let’s see if there’s a change..
