In my Southern family, you always "buy the blade" exchange a penny for the blade to prevent the "ties" of love and friendship from being cut by the blade.

Our tradition (British, Scottish, Canadian) is to give a coin with the knife so your friendship won’t be cut. 😊

What a special time you provide to your guests! They must have been over the moon with happiness. One thing I have to point out - it's wonderful that the dress designer has dresses for all body types. As a curvy gal that is always special to see. Top all that with your wonderful hospitality and delicious food, prefection.

So pleased that you gave Kirsten a coin, it was bothering me watching the last video. I was taught that you gave a coin when someone gave you anything sharp to blunt/stop the cutting of the ties of friendship. The dresses are so pretty, love the mix of fabrics, ie velvet with floaty print sleeves.

In France, you are not supposed to offer somebody a knife because that could cut a friendship and you’re not supposed to offer handkerchiefs because it could make the person cry. Knives and handkerchief are supposed to bring bad luck as gifts here.

Sian is a neighbour and a good friend of the Moons, I think she looked after the farm the time they all went to the Petherick's for the halloween party. Her daughter Rosalee is Charlie's friend and you can sometimes see them together looking after the horses in earlier videos.

Want to hear something not so funny Facebook put me in jail for recommending Vendetta couture, in the comments section of one of those “secret Bridgerton Ball events” which was kinda of a scam anyways I was in a fight with them to prove the event was real…horrible reviews and some investigations. Facebook didn’t like me dropping her page link a couple of times to different people asking about where to get costumes or period dresses, they said I was spamming them. I think the event was renting costumes.
