I grew up in a town in South Auckland (New Zealand) called Papakura. Theres a bush walk in our town which is a nature reserve. Many teens use it to travel to school each day or to wag/drink/smoke and all the other stuff teens get up to. It's known as not a safe place to go sadly but it was a really beautiful place. The trees there are covered in tags, pretty much any tree thick enough to paint gets it. It became such an issue that the council was made to start doing something about it, but all they can do is use house paint on rollers to cover the tags, which obviously get tagged right back over. It's things like this why I can't stress enough there needs to be legal walls and young artists need to be embraced by the community. Graffiti only needs to be as undercover as you want it to be.

Big ups to Banksy for not disrespecting King Robbo when he past away, when they had beef. . Instead he put up a mural paying homage. #RIP KINGROBBO #teamrobbo

Ive been a graff artist for over 20 years and i totally agree with these. The idea is not to piss off people but to make a statement

I know that graffiti in the first picture you used for number 5. Its close to my house. The Nekst graffiti is all over Detroit, and im not in the tagging community here, I tend to get into other things, but my friend is and he says Nekst is a pretty damn well respected tagger

number five reminds me of that one episode of unbreakable kimmy schmidt where lillian tries saving the portraits of biggie when someone painted over it.
@felpaprod49435 жыл бұрын
oh god, I always write with a steel tip in ground relieves... I'm sooo toy xD. This stuff seems easy for a european/usa guy, but I started alone and just seeing this kind of videos and documentaries, and in my country and in all latinamerica all houses have high walls, you don't see yards freely, so there are a plenty of out walls, like you are not painting their houses, just their outside fences... And I always wonder if that is okay at all, even with park walls that face people houses, I don't want to be disrespectfull so I guess that is okay in walls that don't face like big streets, or walls that are already written on. It's hard to choose a cool spot 'cos in my country everything is private property, even the metro and highways
@CANControlGRAFFITI5 жыл бұрын
Hadil Ramirez the broken window rule always applies mane. I personally think a good place to go paint (not saying you’re toy) is under the damn bridge, every city has at least one. Or bandos (abandoned structures)

I've said this before, but every now and then I would come up on some nice ass school wall with tags on it and just get loose. I can't really remember why I had the rule though. Why do you?
@Foster_-gx8sm5 жыл бұрын
Joseph little why, schools are one of the best places because many people see it every day and also students absolutely don’t care about a bit of color on that boring brick wall
@leohuxtable4395 жыл бұрын
Guessing that's just your school, not schools in general. It's on a long list of things to avoid so you don't get caught for anything too stupid.
