This past summer in August, I was part of the 1st tour group to tour the Luxembourg Royal Palace' Bad Huis/stables for their horses. Out of all the royal palaces I toured from Norway, Sweden, Finland, (no royal palace only the Presidential home which was closed) Denmark, Prague, Cardiff and London, the Royal Palace of Luxembourg was my favorite. I could easily relax in this beautiful palace. It's worth the tour.

The Grand Duke of Luxembourg apparently took a page out of the book of his royal cousin, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark who unprecedentedly abdicated her throne, announcing this move during her annual New Year’s Eve direct public address to the people of Denmark. She formally stepped down in January 14th 2024 after serving 52 years on the Danish throne as its monarch and our Head of State. She was replaced by her eldest son, King Frederik the 10th.

Inevitable given the Grand Duchess Theresa situation happening twice now. Perhaps Herald V should consider doing the same and skipping straight to Ingrid Alexandra? Sidelines Marius straight away and prevents the dodgy son from taking advantage and exploiting that relationship which he likely would. Siblings are harder to manipulate than parents. I hate to be so negative but giving their approval ratings the survival of the Monarchy is at stake and cynicism and hard facts need to be factored in. Remove Martha Louise from succession too if she insists on making bad choices. This requires a slash and burn approach if they want to keep the throne.

Ok I am behind on events. What has happened with Grand Duchess Maria twice now? Also, i don't think Prince Haakon should be skipped over because of all the mess with his stepson. I think the Prince has handled all of the situation very well by keeping it a personal family event and not yelling it across the front page news. This is his wife's son and he knows she loves him unconditionally and all this trauma is tearing her apart. Plus he has been stepfather to her son since he was small so I am sure he loves him like a son also. Stepping over Prince Haakon would be like punishing him and he doesn't deserve that. The people of Norway seem to love him and his wife and would not want to see him skipped over. Plus Princess Ingrid is not ready to take over that role I dont think. Just my thoughts.

A succession is a constitutional matter and cannot be changed, especially not by the reigning monarch him/herself. There is nothing wrong with Prince Haakon, and he seems to be ready and capable to take over whenever his father wants to pass the baton. It's not his wife's fault that her eldest son went the wrong way, and every family has some skeletons in the closet. As for the Luxemburg succession I see no problems, and princess Stéphanie will be a breath of fresh air, with a sweet and positive personality. She should have been allowed a few more years of freedom with her young children, though. But as someone pointedly mentioned, there may be reasons why this is happening. Happy New Year to the incomparable Alexandra and all her fans!

Grand Duke Henri is abdicating, He did incredible things for his country. Maria Teresa was just a fashion disaster and was mean to staff. She tried to something some royal duties thinking it will make up for her meanness, It's not working. Now Gielloume and Stephanie will be the new Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg. But they will be inaugurated or proclaimed in October 3rd of the new year. Stephanie will be a better grand duchess fashion wise plus she seems care about the people more than her mother in law. The British Royal Family attended the Christmas Service. King Charles of England wore a brown double breasted coat with a tie, pants, shoes and an umbrella. Queen Camilla of England wore an olive green outfit with a matching hat and Princess Catherine of Wales wore a dark green coat with a matching hat and plaid scarf. Prince William of Wales was with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Prince George has looked his father I remember when he was a baby. I bet they got a visit from Santa. The best dressed royal was....Princess Catherine. The dark green works well with her skin tone and I like the scarf. Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to you Happy birthday Queen Sylvia Happy birthday to you🎂🎶 I didn't know that the queen was born during Christmas, that's amazing! Jesus was born way before her time. 81 is a blessing of itself. The Norwegian Royal family celebrated Christmas by attending the church service. The King and Queen will rule another year as long as there will be no more scandals (That means you Borg Høiby but god loves you anyway).
