Mark you are truly a star and a natural in front of the camera! Things for you will only get bigger and you will be in demand to work all over the world from different television and production companies! The way and relaxed style of your presenting and how you explain and keep it simple for your views is a natural talent and I congratulate you and wish you every success both now and with every opportunity that comes your way in the future.

Wow, you surely get up early over there! But, you are young so you are also likely resilient, too. I love massaman curry, Mark. I love all Thai curries, in fact. Jungle is interesting, though -- quite hot!

Not only do I enjoy seeing the good food, but I so much enjoy seeing the culture, including "grandma", sitting in a crouched position to cook, the sink outside going to the river, people cutting the chicken's fingernails off (I never really knew they had them-- oy!). It's all the little things that give a mosaic of what seems like such a different world, a good one, but so different than what I know. Yet, "food, folks, and fun" transcends it all. Wonderful video!

By far, this is my favourite episode. Grandmas make the best food! That Massaman curry looked unbelievably delicious. Lucky you!

I really dislike that people are doing cooking home less and less, depending on frozen dishes, fast food chains, etc.... Nothing like homemade food! It's so wholesome, healthy, delicious, family & friends bonding, it's what makes us human. Thank you Mark! This reminded me of my family back home and brought tears to my eyes. Enjoy those precious moments.

i missed my grandma because of this. she used to cook a lot when she was alive. they say mom's cooking is the best, but actually grandma's that's the best

It was delicious watching you fall in love with the place and the people. You have the most amazing experiences wherever you go. I'm sure it's at least in part, because of your humility and childlike wonder, and the sheer joy you take in meeting new friends. You are an inspiration. Thank you for sharing yourself and your travels.

Hmmm...Ayutthaya (the name sounds so similar to the ancient city of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, India). Thailand has so much influence from ancient India...Its like a mini India combined with the Chinese influence. The love for curries, spices and all things sour and super spicy and the biggest being the social structure and religions. Mark's you got the hallmarks of all things an Indian would symbolise with. Your love for the curry 24 x 7....hats off. Even when you wake you you need a curry...wow! Even though there are many things lacking for a good food+ travel show...still your honesty and simplicity are more than enough to make up for all those things. The look on grandma's face.. just brought tears to my eyes, as I couldn't help remember my late grandma. Super sweet video and a big thumbs up 👍🏼

All the others foodie youtubers goes to only fascinated place or popular place so that they can get easy view or likes from the viewer but Mark Wien you are different. Every time when i watch your video most of the times you goes to remote place or place which was unknown by the outsider of that place & explore in such a way that we can connect with them deeply and easily. Love you Mark and keep it on what you are doing and respect your hard work & dedication toward the work you doing. And ever time you takes your wife and son with you which shows how much you love your family and take care of them. Coz i can see lots of youtuber who didn’t get time to spend with family. it doesn’t mean they don’t love or care family.. but there way of working is different than Mark... Mark spend lots of time with his family and his wife also helping him on his work some how and his wife get chance to explore lots of place with Husband. Love the way you work Mark. Its a lesson to lots of New KZbinr who is just starting there channel...

So cool that your doing actual tv shows, I didnt realize that! Love how respectful and genuine you are with the host and her family, your spirit is so sweet and appreciative. Thank you for sharing who you are and what you enjoy doing Mark Weins. know you will never read this, but if you ever did you would find out that one of your avid viewers as watched dozens upon dozens of your videos because she has cancer and watching them has helped her find her ability to eat again. I am currently only 96.6 lbs (normally 130) but Im eating again and its very often while Im watching one of your episodes because something your eating looks so good I go make myself something that has at least some of the same flavor profiles (sweet, salty, sour, spicy, pungent, etc) I even recently found an asian produce store in the city where my Dr appts are and have been there shopping twice! I bought a whole tilapia that I brought home and grilled using asian spices (lemon , cilantro, chilis, salt, white pepper, and ginger) and pan seared prawns again with those spices. It was so delicious, I cant wait to try more!

Mark, hello from Coral Springs, Florida. I once learned of the deliciousness of Massaman Curry from our local Thai restaurant Thai Garden. The owner Duke recommended the dish to me and told me that his mother who was the cook there cooked the best Massaman Stew. I tried it and It was so delicious. He also gave me some Plum wine on the house to enjoy to it. I sure do miss that place. No one else did a greater Massaman Curry than Duke's Mom.

When I first went to Thailand 7 years ago, the hospitality of the people there was very touching, I had made friends with some local people and they took me to places where there were no farang for miles and experienced things that you wouldn't being an expat or tourist.
