If you don't want to use your oven, just toast your oats, coconut, seeds and nuts in a dry frying pan on the stove. Toast till golden brown and then toss in your melted honey/syrup and oil. Done! You might not get clusters, but it's still tastes delish and is super easy!

You have definitely inspired me to make granola at home; your recipes and tips are appreciated. I always love customizing flavors with banana, nut butters, pumpkin and coconut. Two tips I’ve learned along the way have also been to make sure the nuts you’re using while baking are raw and if they aren’t just add them after your granola is done to prevent them from burning. The second tip I learned was to flatten the granola out together on the baking sheet in like one big mass, bake for half the cook time then when it’s time to turn you will have the extra chunky clumps that you can break apart however you desire. This is the sure fire method I’ve tried to ensure big clusters and I LOVE a clustery granola 🤗

Love your channel. I’ve been vegan for about 3 months, it’s done wonders for my diabetes, and my weight. I’ve had to test different foods but overall my numbers are controllable by what I eat , rather than meds I was told I had to have (in my situation only). I hope to build up a menu that I can go to without too much fuss. Thanks for your recipes, very helpful to me 👍

I'm a beekeeper and I would really suggest not using honey for this as when you warm it up it losed pretty much all it's beneficial properties therefore it's better just to use another weetener or sugar and save honey for raw usage

Great video! I had left over coconut from making coconut milk at home and didn't know what to do with it then I tought about adding it to granola and it worked perfectly! Can't wait to try it tomorrow for breakfast! I added quinoa and barley to the oatmeal for extra nutrients and skipped the sugar

Great video. Thank you for sharing. The recipe I have used for a while is 5 cups large flake oats, 3 ripe bananas, 1/4 cup date paste (I make my own date paste), 1/2tsp salt. Sometimes I add nuts and or seeds. Always have dried fruit (raisins, cranberries etc) and sometimes a finely chopped apple or pear. Bake at 200 degrees for one hour rotating and stirring at the 30 minute mark. Then turn off oven rotate and stir again and let sit for another 30 minutes then take out and let completely cool before storing. 👍🇨🇦

I am looking for a granola recipe to try... lost my old one. Went ahead and downloaded your meal prep guide. Hope it's good for my plant-based goals. :-) Next I am trying to find a quinoa granola recipe to try... probably on your site somewhere. I thought it would be with real uncooked quinoa, but probably is the flakes you mentioned. I have see raw quinoa in other recipes so I am trying to discover how it is done. :-)

Looks great, I am really trying to go as sugar-free as possible so I use peanut butter, coconut oil, and a small amount of honey. All heated together with 2 tablespoons of vanilla. I also like adding chia seeds and ground flax as well. 100's of ways to make granola but love your base as a starting point.

Hi Alissa, i like very much your recipes and your channel. But i can't eat a lot ingredients for leaky gut and food intolerances. I 've forbidden gluten, oat, soja, corn, dairy products, sugar and sirups.... I can buckwheat, rice, millet, amaranth, quinua, vegetables, legumes, nuts, fruits some fish (less mercury), eggs and country chicken. I hope if you could help me with some recipes vegan or vegetarian... With this ingredients. I love your granolas, overnight, the cakes, but i'm a little sad when the doctor said me my "new diet". But i think is provisional(if i get better probably i 'll can introduce more nourishment). Sorry for all and for my english, i' m spanish. My Best wishes from Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Barcelona, the town that was born La Rosalía the singer). Thanks a lot😘
