I think if they fought on equal ground I would still give the edge to granola. Broly is a berserker who just attacks without any real tactics. He overpowers slash breaks through the enemies guard with overwhelming unchecked strength. Meanwhile granola is a strategist who targets his opponents weak spots. I think granola would be on the defensive for most of the fight but once he figures out how broly moves and where his vital points are broly would go down.

Yeah I don’t disagree. If they fought I think Granolah would HAVE to take Broly out immediately, Broly makes gigantic leaps in power during battle. I mean the dude went from scrub to needing a SSB Gogeta to put him down. I don’t think Granolah has anywhere near enough of a raw power output to overwhelm Broly like gogeta did so strategy is a must for Granolah.

@@legendary9689 the raw and random fighting style wasn’t the problem for them in the movie, it was purely just Brolys power that overwhelmed them. I mean if you wanna look back at the top caulifla was just a “brawler” with no technique which made her light work for goku regardless of her strength. Fighters with no technique (coming from a boxer) are relatively easy to take out because they’re just swinging mindlessly, it comes as a shock at first but then it’s an easy victory after that. It’s the vast power difference that makes that mindless fighting a threat which at that point it isn’t the lack of technique that makes the threat, it’s purely just the difference in strength.

As massively strong as Broly is and how much stronger he gets during a fight, he's the tank and less experienced of the three saiyans and the angrier he gets, the more savage he becomes and that lack of control and intelligence will be his downfall against someone as patient, precise and as calculating as Granolah.

I think you’re mostly right. However, I don’t think Granola would be so calculating in a fight against Broly. Precise? Absolutely, but his hatred of the Saiyans would perhaps lead him not to finish the fight in the most efficient way possible If Granola goes all out from the start and kills him immediately, then he definitely wins, but Broly’s unparalleled growth curves means that Granola really does need to finish it right off the bat, or he may find himself in big trouble

My only concern is that the events of DBS Broly happened a chapter ago, so we don't know where he sits power-wise and the same goes for Jiren. But Granola being the strongest is just a momentary thing, kind of like how Vegeta and Goku were getting trashed against Goku Black, but came back and were winning until Zamasu came into the fight. MUI is kind of trashed with the power scaling aspect because it was supposed to be a power no mortal could obtain, even difficult for G.o.Ds.

People often say Broly keeps getting stronger. This is partially correct. Broly only gets stronger as he gets angrier. There is a limit to anger when fear takes over. This is why he couldn’t catch Gogeta Blue. This is the Dragon Ball version of the Hulk only Broly (as stated in the manga if you want to call him an LSSJ) has a physical limit to how much power he can contain before exploding.

Yeah, but Broly seems to be powered by rage almost similar to the Hulk and Saiyans as stated by Vegeta way back in Z increase in power after recovering from injuries, Broly seems to have quicker healing when in his rage state, so it's entirely possible for Broly to surpass Goku and Vegeta in terms of raw power, now that doesn't mean that UI Goku and Hakai Vegeta aren't more powerful than Broly. Power and strength are all relative terms when it comes to what is being quantified who is more powerful than who and in what way?, who is stronger than who and in what way? Case in point, in terms of raw power I believe Broly could surpass both Goku and Vegeta given time, however, Vegeta would be stronger because he's a more seasoned fighter and knows how to focus his power and strength, raw power only gets you so far. Goku meanwhile has a stronger will power than either Broly or Vegeta (except when his immediate family such as Bulma and Trunks are threatened), Goku keeps going until his literal last breath every time, Vegeta meanwhile has in the past been dumbstruck when he becomes overwhelmed by the realization that he is way out classed by his enemy essentially paralyzing him, this occurred during the original Z Broly movie.

This is false because Broly was stated MULTIPLE times to be on par with Beerus in terms of strength yet Vegeta just a few chapters ago got one shotted by Beerus who wasn’t even trying yet again lol. Beerus isn’t 1 shooting Broly lol Whis has been known in some cases to be deliberately misleading in order to push goku and Vegeta and feed their egos it wouldn’t be the first time. Not to mention Whis never actually took a hit from Broly nor did he fight FSSJ Broly. Granola was confirmed to be stronger than both Goku and Vegeta yes that much is correct but he was also told that he couldn’t be made to be stronger than the gods yet making him stronger than Goku alone makes him stronger than atleast Belmod soooo that makes zero sense. Broly has been deliberately left out of the manga for some odd reason so until we actually see him in the manga we can’t confirm his power level compared to newer versions of other characters. Not to mention even Goku and Vegeta only vaguely mentioned him in literally one panel and that was it. Not only does Broly get stronger but he also has the ability to learn as he fights, vegeta directly addressed this fact. Over time Broly has more potential than any other saiyan and thats over a very short period of time. Like when goku turned Super Saiyan God and used his ki to hold broly in place, broly mimicked the same technique and used it on goku in a matter of seconds. With that in mind, Granolah doesn't have the time to fuck around with with a fighter like Broly.

@geekdom101 please read this. Remember, the Stardust Breaker only targets evil energy. Yes it tanked janemba, but only because he was pure evil. If you notice in the movie, after that hit from stardust breaker, his rage disappeared, amd his pupils came back. I think Gogeta smirked because he realized that broly wasn't pure evil, so the goku in him was able to see that he is saveable and not an evil saiyan, which then the vegeta side would think of how this can be a powerful ally. Either way, just remember, s.b. is not a finishing move, its an evil energy erasing technique only.

That's a reasonable point @geekdom considering what we have seen from granola up to now with is experience in combat and his pin point one shot accuracy but remember granola wasn't using his full power with goku and vegeta because he said he was saving it for frieza who he believed was still the strongest in the universe and still rained supreme if u read back you will see granola is constantly surprised by how strong vegeta and goku is because his recollection of the sayains and how strong they are consists of his previous observation and experience power wise of the sayains so granola being a tactician in battle with his moves would use the power he thought was reasonable to take out broly and we know that when broly first appeared vegeta and goku sensed crazy power bur wasn't sure about him being broly didn't know how to use it so that might have worked possibly on the first appearance broly but broly is a quick learner and gets strong rapidly compared to vegeta and goku being he has unique sayain cells which we know leads him to unlock The legendary super sayain form not to mention his icari form lol I can't spell it but uno what I mean, we know what is stated about the legendary super and the pros and cons of that form and as we see during his encounters with vegeta and goku. Broly like all sayains get a zenki boost with every near death or damage inflicted experience so taking that into account and he definitely took something back from those fights and we don't know if goku kept his word and was going back to train with broly from time to time like he stated at the end and if you remember gogeta hit broly with pin point body breaking one shot hits similar to granola but a different style of pinpoint crippling pressure point hits and broly took them and gave a good account of himself consider is lack of combat and not to mention goku and vegeta combined with ssjb, broly is very durable remember goku hit him with the stardust finisher which instantly obliterated janemba broly was still alive and fighting so I don't think it will be conclusive now as before if he fought first appearance broly we saw how damaged goku was and still is broly is more durable especially with his ability to convert The great ape abilities and streets into his human form which we know has icari lol can't spell it so based on those factors it wouldn't be a conclusive ending with granola knocking out broly so easily not to mention broly streets goes at a rapid rate we all know gokus weakness is that he doesn't go all out from the start he likes to build up to his max with that old saying keeping your cards close to your chest which can be a weakness of goku at times as vegeta even whis and berus stated broly his blood thirsty when he looses his mind his rage and uncontrollable power will not see him go soft on granola but that could be a weakness for broly when he's up against enemies that are elite tacticians and power and with granola eye that is an advantage but if broly as been learning to somewhat control his power and grow I don't think it will be a conclusive granola beating broly so easily I am not sure if broly will even out right loose we still don't know how strong broly really is tbh we are just gaging based on what we have seen.

Ehhh I would say gohan had the craziest growth in dragon ball. Dude went from cell saga super saiyan level 1 to super saiyan god super saiyan plus kaioken in one episode and all he did was meditate for a few minutes. Broly at least had to fight and it took like the last 40min of the movie and makes at least a little sense, unlike gohans. I mean imagine if gohan did image training meditation for 2 episodes straight, dude would be on par with zen oh lmao.

I'd say full power Broly is stronger than Granolah, the wish likely doesn't cover Broly's hidden potential and great ape power both of which he cant control. when you think about it, at the time of the wish Blue evolution Vegeta and Mui Goku were the two strongest, based on what we've seen so far it looks like the dragon didn't make Granolah stronger than MUI (maybe because the dragon defines Goku as a god in the state) so I'm thinking Granolah is like Moro 73 level

Tbh I feel like it all depends if Granolah's pressure point attacks would subdue Broly or not. If it does then the fight is 100% in Granolah's favor if it doesn't like how Goku was able to adapt and make sure his pressure point wasn't fully hit say for fun Shonen trope Broly hardens his muscles to protect that part he'd be able to get stronger and the fight would drag on a lot longer to the point either one could win

There’s actually nothing broly could do to granolah. Broly fights like a beast, he’s strong yes, but there’s a limit to how much he could adapt. He didn’t land a single hit on gogeta blue, that’s where he couldn’t adapt any longer. Granolah is on a whole other level of strength at this point. Broly gets one shot, granolah doesn’t play around too much.

Now that I think about it all Grannola had to do was wish to the the strongest mortal to ever live until the end of time.
