Hello. Can the delegate track the calendar meeting to D365?
@alfredmorrison7402 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, someone delegated access for me and I used your other video to add them to my inbox. However when I click on expand it does not show me their inbox even though they gave permission for it. Any advice? Thanks!
@listner9092 жыл бұрын
They will need to review the folder permissions that they set for you. Likely they tried to setup folder permission manually. The inbox needs to have the permission "Folder visible"

Hi Chris, I’m a delegate to my manager’s inbox and calendar. Previously if I was offline my manager could see last minute invite changes on the day but while I was offline she couldn’t see the changes to the invitation at all, so I had to log on and accept the invite for her to be able to see it on her calendar. Are you able to let me know what we’ve done wrong with the settings? I should be receiving all my manager’s invites in my inbox and she doesn’t need to see them come through in her inbox as it is a double up. Thanks.

I do not think that you could avoid her seeing the invitations in her inbox. as far as the online offline asynchronization you should make sure that both outlook clients are in On-Line mode and try disabling Cached Mode.

Not an expert but 2.12 mins into the video it says in the pop out box deliver meeting requests addressed to me... read that and choose the option that suits you best?

Hi, the mail you are sent with delegated user, in what folder is stored? In "sent items" of the primary account or the "sent items" of the delegated account?
@listner9093 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry I don't understand your question.
@massimilianodefalco40673 жыл бұрын
@@listner909 OK. Let's assume only one account (no delegates), the main one. When I send an email, the email is saved in the folder "sent items". The "sent items" folder of my primary account. Now, I add the delegates account, so I have the primary (my account) and the delegates account. I send an email with the delegates account (in the "from" field I put the delegates account). My question is: the email I sent where is saved/stored? In the "sent items" of my account (primary) or the "sent items" of the delegates account?

Hi! My client added me as a delegate in Outlook. He wants me to have access to his drafts folder but I couldn't find it. Can you help me please

Hi, I have one issue related to delegates. If ex. A and B two users. A user calendar access provided to B user. B user can access A user calendar, so B user sending meeting invitation to A user from B user calendar. A user can able to see invitation in calendar but mail is not receive. While we have checked in message trace it's showing delivery fail due to mail delete by auto rule. But there is no any rule in outlook. How to resolve this issue.
@listner909 Жыл бұрын
because you see "fail due to mail delete by auto rule" and the fact that you are getting a bounce back, it sounds like it could be settings on the server side and not a rule on the client.

Does this "Delegated Account" have to be with a business Microsoft Account? I have a personal account and the delegated option is not there?
@listner9092 жыл бұрын
As far as I know, all the users must be on the same exchange server. Additionally, I do not think that is supported by Outlook Web.
@Stacey-go5wb2 жыл бұрын
Did you find a workaround for this? I am also on a personal account, and I assume the people who I will be working with will 100% be on a business plan

Does this work on the outlook online? Or can I only do this on the Outlook app?
@AliceVibe2 жыл бұрын
Also I'm on a mac, if that makes any difference
@listner9092 жыл бұрын
Outlook online If I am thinking of the right thing is a web app so it should be pretty much the same if you are on a PC or a Mac. I have not used it much at all so I can't say from personal experience but here is a how to from Microsoft. www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/blog/2013/09/04/configuring-delegate-access-in-outlook-web-app/

Can you share just one folder in the inbox ?
@listner9092 жыл бұрын
Yes, but you need to share the entire inbox then adjust the permissions for all the folders that you would like to restrict. The inbox must have the permission "Folder visible"

how do I remove myself as a delegate?
@listner9093 жыл бұрын
The owner of the mailbox assigns delegation rights. You can remove the mailbox from Outlook (generally) but this will not change your delegate rights for that mailbox.
