I've just done this juice and it's really delicious! I used 3 oranges (there aren't any grapefruits in Brazil) 1 large carrot and the same amount of ginger that she said on the video. Then I just blended it up real nice, passed it through the sieve twice and poured in a glass with some ice on it. I loved it!!! It's probably my new go-to juice

Ginger is very good but can be spicy if you've never tried it before. Start out with a tiny piece and then increase the amount if you decide you like it. Fresh ginger has a beautiful, almost lemony scent but it's deceiving....has a spicy sharpness that is great if you like it. Maybe taste the ginger before adding it to your juice. :)

You can use any red grapefruit you are able to find. I think she's using it instead since white grapefruit is more bitter.

I’ll add only 1/2 half of ginger next time…. Wow…. I’m not a fan of grapefruit so I added some honey, and I don’t have a juicer so in the blender I add some water…. 🤪….. I’m cooking grapefruit and lemon peals in crockpot so I needed to use up the fruit…

Are people still juicing and claiming it's healthy? You're not only unnecessarily wasting produce, but you're leaving behind most of the nutrients and fiber and giving yourself a giant sugar dosage. Eat the WHOLE fruit and vegetable, or blend it up, skin and all, into a smoothie. It will also keep you full for much longer since it's not just liquid.

Dias Rezky A way to fix that would be to steam or blanch the carrots/ginger a little bit before blending, but I'm not sure if that would impact the flavor. I'll stick to making soup out of my carrots though.
