The identities of the mothers involved were NOT concealed for their protection. Rather, the move was meant to conceal the names of the children so they could heal and grow up in relative peace and not be subjected to further trauma or reminders of their abuse. The judge knew if the names of the mothers were released, it would be easy to figure out the names of the victims. Hope that helps.

Her name is Kristin and she sent pictures of her daughter to him and had her children in the courtroom for his sentencing for the death penalty for unaliving two innocent women. His sentencing was on August 27, 2024. The Wade Wilson situation is a disgrace . I don't understand the attraction to these types of men and the women who are fantasizing about them it's really disturbing.

I'm currently trying to divorce my wife because wanted to try something similar with our little 2 yr old son (I have him he is safe, and she's not living in the house no more) its just crazy that a mother would want to do these things to there own child or any child... It just reinsures me that I'm making the right decision of leaving my wife.( I'm catholic and live in the USA where divorce is still frowned upon)(yes,there are family members that says I should work it out and stay married and have her try to get psychiatric help) I have tried to get her some and she wont go. One thing about this whole policing offensive language thing: I really don't think it's actually all about "political correctness" per se, or at least not all of it. Look at what happened when people held up signs saying "NOT MY KING" in protest after the Queen died, and that one lawyer (American term I know) who asked a Met Policeman if displaying said sign could warrant an arrest, to which the cop replied "yes". The only minority group whose feelings are supposedly being protected in that instance are Royals, presumably. In all, it seems like the true motivation behind it just might be to keep underfunding them, because it's not like this sort of thing requires a lot of funding to "prosecute".

I played music myself for many years. When in a band, you get to know the other musicians very, very well. This is especially true when touring, when you are very much in each other's company, whether you like it or not. I personally believe that the other members of the band at least saw SOME stuff that Watkins got up to. They probably didn't know the full extent of it, but I'm sure they saw him with young girls at times.

If you remember correctly, Peaches Geldoff named and shamed the mothers on Twitter then oddly enough she was found dead days later. There has to be a ring that involves higher up folks who are protected, its sick but it goes on. A 17 year old man SA'ed 6 kids between the ages of 12 and 14 and only got 60 hours community service!! Your coverage of this case was brilliant as always, DiD. I'm glad he got some kind of justice in prison - I was not aware of this. Even if it wasn't enough for the disgusting crimes he committed, it is better than absolutely zilch justice. May Watkins rot. He will be a danger to children until the day he leaves this world.

Liking these types of videos is hard to do. The story itself is horrifying. But I believe it’s important to put these stories out for public consumption so we know who the perpetrators are and so we know what to look for so we can try to prevent grooming and victimization in the future. So thank you for reporting Sir. I hope this man rots in prison for eternity. He deserves to never ever be let out.

I was genuinely sickened by it, no question. Anything to do with abuse of children, animals or the elderly instantly gets my blood boiling. But at least it’s done now, well, until I come to cover other ones such as Richard Huckle for example. 😔

Nice Job with this video kind Sir!. I have seen videos about Ian Watkins story before. Amazing such a light sentence for all his infant and young child sexual offenses. He should be buried under the jail! What a disgusting monster who should never be let out of prison in my opinion. It's amazing how so many ladies fall for creeps in prison like this thinking they can change them. Plus, I am from America, and they have light sentences for pedophiles in America too! What a shame! This is very similar to Phil Kusabs from the Canadian band Blasphemy. He was busted in a ring that operated in New Zealand. He was in the band for 15 years, and they covered for him the whole time.

Very informative, I hadn't followed the case thoroughly at the time and wasn't familiar with The Lost Prophets as a band, but this case sickens me. More so those mothers that allowed their children to be abused by this thing. What drives someone to do such a thing? I will never understand why this happens!

You'd be very surprised how well they can keep it hid. I HAD, a very close family member who has been like this for his entire life, and none of the family had a single idea until the day he was arrested and dragged off to prison right out of the clear blue sky for 20 years. It was especially difficult for me because I looked up to this person who I spent most of my time playing in bands with. Their was zero clues or evidence to make me ever think that he was one of those. I haven't spoken to him since and will probably never speak to him again.

People tend to not believe things that seem unbelievable to them. The thing is... would it have made a difference?! People complained about him to police and nothing happened... what use would it have been? I find it worse that police either ignored it or their hands were tied

I’m sorry and can relate. Sounds like you’re dealing as you can. I have been trying to stuff down the memories with drugs. Unsuccessfully but still I try. Struggle life is a struggle. I worked for the police here in Australia for 15 years, and could not read it, I started to and it just made me want to vomit. And I have seen some awful crap but this was way too much for me, I am a mother and as most mothers, would die for my son. I thought that I could handle the sentencing report but no way I could even get close to finishing it.
