On Christmas morning, my mom passed away; then George Michael's passing came over the wire. The next day was Carrie Fisher, and then Debbie Reynolds. Talk about taking the blows. That was one of the saddest Christmases I'd ever known in my whole life.

When my brother died my sister walked out to get the mail and as she turned and started walking back, a hummingbird flew up to her face and just stayed there looking at her. She also got coins on a counter she just wiped clean when our dad died. I get strong feelings and visions when they both died. Happy ones.

I saw Debbie Reynolds at the Ohio Theater in the 80's when she was touring with The Unsinkable Molly Brown on stage. I saw Carrie in her Broadway show Wishful Drinking. Later I met Debbie at a book signing at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan. I was able to talk with her and thank her for the many gifts she gave all of us with her movies and music. She was a true sweetheart and appreciated her fans. A definite class act!

I just finished reading Debbie's own book (Debbie, published in 1988) last night. I was lucky enough to see Debbie in person in Atlantic City in an afternoon show at a casino. She was warm, down to earth, funny, & it was a very physically demanding show. She was incredible. She took time for all of us after the show; I'm a fan forever. Thank you so much for doing these, Jordan. Just ordered Todd's book, & I own some of Cat's makeup. Blessings to you & Jah! Jackie in upstate NY

Smaller tv film but I'll never forget Debbie in "Halloweentown". Watching her in that you could tell she was having fun. Seemed like such a down to earth person despite the fame. And nobody will ever forget Carrie and the important role she played in the success of Star Wars. Really sad that they both left us. But there is something calming that they left together for sure.

My mother, in the very early 1950's and before she married my father, had a boyfriend who was based overseas with the U.S. Army for a time. He sent my mother photos of him and Debbie Reynolds as a young actress who performed for the troops .She had this great pony tail. These are mementos that my Mother still cherishes to the photos. I grew up to love Debbie Reynold's movies and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" is my all time favorite followed by "The Singing Nun". I was born in 1954 and my parents are both 86 so that gives a bit of a time frame.

Beautiful vlog today ❤! When I heard that Carrie passed away, then her mom right after, it was sad that both great ladies died so tragically, but like Todd said, they were together. Debbie didn't want her daughter to go alone, so she went with her; it was poetic. What an honor to have met Todd and for him to share what he did with you. And yes, you are right, you take us on journeys that many of us can't, so thank you for that. Hope you and Jah had good holidays, and may you be blessed in the years to come.

Couple of years ago we decided to go celebrity graveyard hunting and our last stop was Forest Lawn. It hadn't dawned on us that we decided to do this on Mother's Day so the place was very very crowded as we were walking along we got done looking at Betty Davis tomb and we stumbled upon Debbie and Carries tomb. We saw a woman and a couple of other people leaving cards and flowers on it and we stepped back and gave them their space and privacy we didn't realize it until after we saw them leave that it was Billie lourd and what I'm going to assume Carrie's brother.
